A Week Later—Kiyashi Ward, Shopping Mall
It was a normal Saturday, school having been quite nice thus far. Izuku didn't really think that there was much to worry about, as his studies had been going splendidly, and he was keeping up with everyone when it came to the physical aspects. Right now, on a weekend, Izuku was going to have to buy some stuff. Not a lot of things, really, just some soap and hair products. They were already running out of the things at home, since Eri liked using them.
A lot.
And sometimes she liked to put the soap in the tub, per his suggestion, then Izuku would swirl them around and the bubbles would come, and he'd join her to play in it.
Of course, when push comes to shove, he would make a small shockwave by flicking his finger in the water when powered up by a small percentage of his 'Quirk' to make ripples so that the bubbles would start forming.
In the end, he settled for coming here alone, because Katsumi was still asleep right now, and he didn't really feel like waking her up. That would have been unfair for her. And he wanted Eri to take care of mom while he was away, which wasn't bad on its own. It was nice to have some time to himself everyone once in a while.
Then again, he did have L and Nana there by his side, 24 / 7 after all.
In any case, Izuku's already bought everything he needed. He was ready to go straight home, but a familiar face catches him off-guard.
"Katsumi?"
"Yo, Izuku!"
Grinning, the two exchanged high-fives with one another, smiling.
"What are you doing here?" Izuku had raised the question first, getting a snort from his friend.
"The old hag wanted me to buy some stuff. Said that they were going to have a potluck or something," she spoke, before her smile returns to her. "And you?"
"All the same. Had to buy some soap and stuff. Eri, uhh, she likes to use them. A lot," there was a chuckle from him, holding the plastic bag in one hand to reveal his purchases. "So hey, finished your homework?"
"Yeah, sure did. But you gotta' admit, there's way more homework here than there was back in Aldera," groaned the blond, getting a pat on the back. "Well, none of that! Let's get back home, and—"
"Hmm?" Before anything else, a vibration from within his pant's pocket catches his attention. Katsumi watches as he fiddles in his pocket for a bit before he finally pulls out his small yellow device, with an unknown number on it.
"Strange. Who's that?" Asked his friend.
"Not sure," he responded, biting his lip.
His initial thought was to leave it, thinking that it was a scammer—he's had enough of those in his old life—or some random prank call, but he's human. And humans are curious little things.
So of course, he ended up picking up the call.
"Hello?" He begins, putting on as deep of a voice that he could pull off. Katsumi giggles.
"It seems I have reached you... Good," the voice that comes out on the other end isn't necessarily deep, something akin to a certain mage he knows. Instead, it sounds so matter-of-factly, like it was the voice of some sort of scientist. "Might I ask, am I currently speaking to Izuku Midoriya?"
"Umm... yes," immediately, he drops the deep voice, looking around him while his friend stares at his phone, curious. "How can I help you?"
"Well, I shan't waste much of your time, so I ask that you listen to me well, because it would waste even much more time to repeat my words. To put it simply, I wish to speak with you in the pizza store on your right," saying that gets the boy to perk up, turning his head to his right.
