They all gathered in front of the church. Most people were hungover and half-asleep bar a few who hadn't drunk or attended the party. Alexandrea stood next to Grizz, offering him a bottle of water. He gladly took it sipping the contents.

"I'll get a car and go to Greenwich to get help," Cassandra said. Alexandra just tried to not laugh at Grizz who looked ill. She also offered him salt and vinegar crisps, since it helped him with hangovers, usually.

"Why you?" Harry asked.

"Someone has to find out where everyone went," Cassandra tried to reason, but Harry being Harry was having none of it. Alexandrea rolled her eyes, silently begging Harry to shut up. "We can't all go,"

"I'll do it,"

"You're sober?" Cassandra joked. Alexandrea giggled slightly at her. Harry gave her a look, which caused her to laugh more. He looked like he felt.

"Fuck you, Cassandra," He spat. He was sat on the step of the church, next to Luke who looked green as he rested his head against the wall. Alex was watching them with a grin. Perks of being sober was watching the pain of hangovers that everyone else got. "Luke, you want to see if we can get some of the guys to come with? Alexandria, are you coming," He asked them. Alex nodded her head.

"Yeah. Yeah, let's go," Luke mumbled. He stood up and gave Harry a hand as Alex and Grizz walked behind them to the car. They laughed at the boys in front of them as the stumbled to the car.

They were all in Harry's car, speeding towards the edge of the town. Alex was sat Between Grizz and Clark, her small size allowing her to lie comfortably with her head on Grizz's shoulder. He had an arm wrapped around her shoulder.

"Okay, so as a rule, the more bizarre a thing seems, the less mysterious it is. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle?"
 Grizz explained.

"You know this shit?" Clark asked Luke, hitting him on the arm. Alex rolled her eyes at the boys, wondering how Grizz became friends with these guys. If it weren't for sports, they probably not talk to them at all.

"I don't know this shit,"

"Of course you don't," Alex mumbled. She loved Luke - hated Clark - but always wondered if he had ever read a book. Only one book. Clark, on the other hand, she wondered if he had ever been to school.

"How about Sherlock Holmes?" Grizz asked again. Alex wasn't surprised when all the boys looked confused. She shook her head at them all. She knew that the boys wouldn't know, they weren't into those things like Grizz was. "The point is, there's an explanation for everything,"

"What does that have to do with the Arther Conan Boyle dude?" Alex let out a huff and turn to Clark.

"Do ever know anything? Seriously, you go to school to learn it's not that difficult," She said but was ignored by everyone. They were all used to the remarks by the girl, who made it very clear that she did not like Clark. At all.

"It's Doyle and you're hopeless," Grizz added on after. He and Alex let out an airy laugh at the boy. She rested her head on Grizz's shoulder, enjoying the feeling of the wind rushing over her face. Her hair flew behind her in the wind like a flag.

"Oh... Oh, shit." Harry said. Alex lifted her head to see what was going on to see the road covered in a forest that just appeared out of nowhere.

"What the hell?" She mumbled. Her brows pulled together and she felt her heart start hammering against her chest. This wasn't normal and everything that Grizz had just said left her head. She turned to Grizz with her eyes wide. He grabbed her hand reassuringly and said to her.

"Remember, the more bizarre a thing seems the less mysterious," He tried to reassure her, but he was confused himself. He hadn't been expecting this.

Harry got out of the car to go and look if it had just been trees falling over in the wind. He went up to it and looked through, trying to see anything. Alex waited nervously. He turned back to them and got back into the car, before speeding off to another entrance to the town.

They all got out of the car as the stopped on the bridge. This was just the same and so couldn't be a coincidence. That would be further off than a magical explanation. "What the hell?" Luke said. Alex walked up to it trying to look through. Nothing. Nothing but an endless forest of green. She walked up to Grizz to look at the train tracks only to find them covered. They were trapped.

A: Cass, come to the bridge out of town now. It's an emergency.

She texted Cassandra. If Cassandra could come up with a logical explanation for this, she would be the smartest person in the world.

Everyone arrived. Alex was sat on the ground with her head in her hands trying to come up with something that could explain it. Her head was empty. Not one thought entered her head except for 'We are screwed'.

"I mean, there's only so many options," Gordie said. Alex lifted her head and made eye contact with Harry who looked just as scared as her.

'Are you okay?" He mouthed. She nodded her head before looking at her hands and began playing with her fingers.

"Maybe we're dreaming," Allie responded. Alex shook her head. They couldn't all be dreaming into the same dream it was impossible. No one can share a dream. She started to scratch at her arm, her leg bouncing up and down. Saying that she was worried would have been a major understatement. "It's the best option,"

"Maybe, this is just some elaborate fucking game," Harry said. Campbell sat next to Alex pulling her into his side. She gladly accepted the hug, curling into him. "like someone built an exact replica of our town and just put it in the middle of nowhere, and if we just walk..." She shook her head. Surely everyone's parents wouldn't have obliged to this. It was inhumane and terrifying. Would they be that cruel?

She didn't feel too bad, in fact, she enjoyed the peace of not having her father around. She didn't want to go back to that life.
