Of course the Debate had to go wrong. Lexie had stepped up out of nowhere, claiming to now be in the running for Mayor. The only good thing was that it had thrown off Campbell as well. However, Lexie had made it her mission to get everyone to hate Allie.

Alex sat in the Library, reading one of the books on delivering a baby. She was scared that it could be any day and that she needed to be prepared. Even if it meant pulling all-nighters until that day came. She also didn't know how going back to Allie's would be after that situation. She thought it'd be best to stay in the library. Her eyes scanned over the book before righting out notes. Tings for either Kelly or Gordie to read out while she did the procedure. Her main priority being to keep Becca safe. She couldn't deal with another friend of her's dying.

"I very much doubt that Sylver would agree with you studying this late at night," Gordie said holding out a cup of coffee for her. She took it from him, muttering a quick thanks. She placed it down knowing by the heat on her hands that it would be too hot to drink straight away.

"He wouldn't. But we do have a baby on the way, so..." Gordie nodded his head in understanding, glancing at the book. "Now, why are you here?"

"I just wanted to talk,"

"About what?"

"Mayor. Council. Everyone expected you to go for it, even Allie. I mean, you were ready to take her place before," He explained. She let out a small laugh, looking down. Remembering how she had shouted them all for not choosing her over Allie. Then again, she now understood why they did what they did. She was in no place to lead. The main point she was feeling better was the amount of time she got to spend with Sylver. Something that wouldn't have happened if she had been in Allie's position.

"I was going to,"

"Then what changed?"

"She's my friend, and other things,"

"What other things?

"Merina was into witchcraft, and after her death I got into it. I put it aside, but the other night I decided to do a tarot reading. I got: the tower, catastrophe and chaos; Death, a change and ending of an era; The Moon, deception, trickery and danger. So I asked what we will need to do. How do we either prevent or solve this thing? And I got: The Hermit, Inner-strength, caution and vigilance; Strength, which means strength, heroism and courage; Finally, Ace of Swords, love and victory."

"So?"

"Allie isn't in the best chances to win, is she?" Gordie shook his head in response. Lexi had been in the lead over Allie and Harry. "I'm better on the outside. Where I'm not directly under Campbell's nose,"

"Take him down from the outside. If you become a doctor people will trust you, you can win them all over better. You're a genius!" Alex laughed, taking a sip of her coffee. She wasn't a genius. She was strategic. and she wouldn't be letting Campbell win. anytime soon. Even if it killed her.

Alex watched as Lexi talked to the group around her. Trying to win them over in favour of her. How? Hate. She tried make everyone hate. "Idiot," Alexandrea muttered. Knowing for a fact that the hate for Allie would run out. After Allie is gone, Lexie will have to answer for every little thing. She'll understand. The hate of the people is the strongest force. But once they run out of reasons to hate one person, it'll spread to someone else. In this case the next leader. At this rate, her.

"Hey, Andrea," She turned to Clark, happy to see someone, even if was Clark.

"Call me Alex," Clark laughed, thinking she was joking. Then she didn't laugh and he turned to her. Suspicious of what she wanted. "I mean it. Despite being the most boyish person ever, you are a good friend. So, I am officially announcing that you can call me Alex. I know I haven't been the best person, letting the stress of being right-hand woman get on top of me and I am sorry for that. Forgive me?" She asked holding her arms out for a hug. The brightest smile she had ever seen lit up his face. He picked her up, swinging around. She screamed before laughing. Everyone's attention turning to the two. He settled her down.
