Thanksgiving | Part 2
Doctor Alex

Alexandrea sat next to Sylver and Grizz, digging into the pile of food on her plate. The Aura of happiness flowing between each person. It no longer felt like the town was in mourning, but celebrating. Even the Turkey's looked good. Despite the boys almost blowing up New Ham. It felt like a giant family gathering. Smiles on everyone's faces. "This is delicious!" Sylver said making Alex laugh.

"Don't talk with your mouth full," She scolded him. She turned to Grizz, "So, where were you before? You missed me beating everyone in a sports game. A freaking sports game!" She squealed. Grizz grinning at her. He was happy to see her like this. Wondering how only a few things could have made her so much happier. Braver.

"I was out with someone,"

"Someone?" She asked with a smirk on her face. He knew she could already tell. The two had been able to read each other for a long time. I mean, he had found it so easy to come out to her. Because she was a sister to him, she understood his mind better than he did. And that is why he loved her so much.

"S. A. M," She tried as hard as she could to not actually burst with excitement. She was scared that Grizz would never find someone. And the fact that now Sam was someone, made her even happier.

"I'm saying now, I'm your maid of honour,"

"Is that how that works?"

"I do not care. I have maybe already started planning it," Grizz tilted his head, his face a painting of pure confusion. She just had a wide smile on her face. She wasn't lying. The moment he told her that he liked Sam, she got onto making a few plans for their wedding. She was obviously the maid of honour. It would be a woodland themed wedding and it would be adorable.

"I love you," He laughed at her. She gave him a hug. Missing the Grizz bear hugs.

"I love you too, Grizzy,"

Alex and Sylver stood together as she spooned the apple crumble onto her plate. "Who brought Pumpkin Pie?" Sylver asked, starting to get a piece. Alex shrugged her shoulder. She considered getting the pie. But thought that to honour the tradition, she would have the apple crumble. It reminded her too much of family for her not to have it. They sat down and began digging into the food. "This tastes a little weird," Sylver said, eating another mouthful.

"And you're still eating it?"

"It's a nice weird, i guess. It's just the textures a little off," He explained. Alex began eating the crumble. Her entire body filling with nostalgia as she ate. The thought of her sister and father coming back to her. She couldn't be happier. Surrounded by the people she loved. Grizz, however, had left a little earlier. Saying that he had something important to do.

"Hey, Becca. Are you okay?" She asked the girl. Becca hid away the piece of paper nodding slightly. "Do you want some apple crumble? I put too much on my plate and I can't finish it.

"Yeah, thank you,"

"What's that piece of paper?" Becca sighed, making Alex furrow her brows.

"Can you promise you won't ask any questions?" Ale nodded her head. Becca held out the piece of paper. Alex unfolded it, seeing the picture. A scan of a baby. Alex smiled even brighter. She wondered how it felt. It must have been scary, having to go through a pregnancy without the reassurance of medical doctors to help you. So, Alex made a mental note to get a few books about delivering. Hoping that she could make the pregnancy as safe as she could for Becca.
