"Your two to three centimetres dilated. I think," Kelly explained to Becca. Alex's eyes ran over her notes as she explained to Gordie what order they go in, the precautions and after care of delivering the baby. Gordie tried to keep up with Alexandrea. She explained the situation as though she was an expert. The late nights finally helping. He took the book off her to study it more. He was less prepared than she was, and she understood that. It didn't prevent the surges of nerves through her body.
"That's early labour. And according to the book, that could take up to twelve house. But don't worry, okay?" Alex explained. Becca nodded her head.
"I'll grab a seat," Sam explained, resting a hand on Becca's back.
"Actually, you should walk around," Kelly said. "You don't want to lie flat that whole time,"
"I don't feel like walking around," Becca argued. Sounding defeated.
"Sam, walk her around," Kelly ordered and signed, so the boy would understand her no matter what. Alex had expected the girl to be difficult when it cam to this. She was pregnant, tired and her body was adjusting. Apparently, according to the books, most women weren't very compliant at this point. Nine months of carrying a child exhausting them. So, it was understandable.
"Okay,"
"it's going well though. The baby's heart rate is good," Gordie explained to the two expecting parents. Becca looking less impressed than Sam. Sam looked apprehensive, but supportive. Becca looked tired.
"Okay, that's good," Sam said to her. A small sile of his face. Ale lowered her head, thinking about Sam and Grizz. Wondering if Becca knew or not. Or what Sam was going to do in the situation. He had a baby on the was with the person he was closest to. Then he had Grizz. Alex had seen Grizz look at Same. The same way she looked at Sylver. Pure love. She wondered how many people could end up getting hurt. Including the baby that was on it's way. "we'll text you," He signed.
"Thanks, we'll come back later." Allie said, giving Becca a smile. "Don't worry. You've had Doctor Alex studying more than she ever has. She knows what she's doing,"
"And I will be right here, when the time comes," Alexandrea smiled at Becca. Hoping to lessen the nerves that Becca felt.
Allie bent down, holding her hands. "This it amazing," She said with a wide smile. Trying to convince her that what was happening was good.
"It's fucking terrifying," Becca said in response. "we're just not saying out loud the stuff we are afraid of,"
"I know,"
"But thank you," She said, using all her energy to give Allie and Alex a smile. Alex blew her a kiss before walking out with them. Alex having promised Will to try and boost Allies confidence. With the elections coming up, she was scared. They all were. wondering what the town would become after it. Lexie, Harry, neither of them seeming like a good option.

"And what about Grizz? Alex?"
"Grizz may never come back man. He hasn't really been a part of us anyway," Clark responded to Luke. "And we're not going to do it to Alex. She made it clear she's going to stay away from Politics and become a Doctor,"
"So your just going to fucking blow everything up? What you don't think this will hurt her? She was beginning to trust you. Years she spent saying you couldn't call her Alex because she didn't trust or like you. She talked to me about it. That even though, all these years you've disagreed, she viewed you as a brother. That she was willing to let you call her Alex because of the Trust you built up. There's that word again. Trust. And she trusted everyone in this room. You know if you do this you're ruing that forever?"
