"You know it's okay to be angry at him, to be sad, and to cry," Sylver explained, holding Alexandrea. They swayed to the music that played in the background. She nodded her head, giving him a weak smile. He knew that she was keeping it bottled in. He wanted to be there for her, to hold her and listen. But she wouldn't tell him how she was feeling. It irked him, but he knew that it was what he was used to. "I mean it. I love you, Alexandrea. And I need you to communicate with me. You don't have to talk, but let it all out before you explode," He watched as her lip trembled. The silver lining on her eyes finally showing up. He pulled her close to him as she began to sob. She felt safe in his arms. Like his arms were barricades, making sure that no monster could get to her.

She cried into his shoulder, the fabric of his top, now stained. She couldn't help but feel like she was a curse to those around her. Everyone who came close to her got hurt or killed somehow. And she felt like she had no one to blame but herself. She didn't want anyone else around her to get hurt. "Let it all out," He cooed. She moved them both over to the sofa, both of them slumping down on it. Sylver felt his heart break watching as she broke in his arms, again. Over time, she calmed down. The relief now filling her.

"Thank you," She pulled away to look at him. He wiped the tears from her face, looking into her eyes. She smiled, leaning into his touch as he cupped her cheek. She leaned forwards connecting their lips. The relief forming into nothing but the pure love she felt for him. He smiled into the kiss. He felt his hear start beating faster, the blood rushing to his cheeks. The fear of watching her fall into nothing, dissipating.  They pulled apart, and Alexandrea curled into him. He held her hand, drawing various patterns on the back. "I love you,"

"I love you too,"

"I love you more,"

"I love you most," The two laughed, ignoring the chaos of the world around them. They felt normal. For once in a long time, they felt like normal teenagers in love. Like her dad would rush down the stairs at any moment telling them to break it up. Instead, they stayed, embraced in each other's comfort.

Everyone felt tense. No one had expected that there would have been a reason for a court. Yet they sat in a church, where a murderer would be put to trial. Alexandrea sighed, looking up. Wondering if there were a God. And if so, why he was being so brutal to them all. She looked back to the front. She jumped slightly when Campbell sat beside her. She noticed how Sylver's side hug got instinctively tighter. She gave Campbell a small smile, then turned back to Sylver. He refused to look at her making her laugh. She kissed his cheek and he instantly melted. Turning to look at her with a smile.

"Alex," She looked at Elle, "You two are adorable together,"

"Thank you," Alex smiled at the girl. She noticed how Campbell was glaring at Sylver, but ignored it. The ringing through the mic turned everyone's attention to Allie. She sat at the front, looking out at everyone who had gathered. Alexandrea looked around her, seeing who was there. She looked behind to see Harry. She noticed how he looked. The dark circles under his eyes, ashy skin and his sunken features. She turned back around, mentally jotting down to talk to him later.

"That works. So, um, I think when you do something for the first time, part of you thinks that you're just pretending. I'm not this person, I'm just putting on the clothes. And this is so weird. I mean, we've all seen it on TV, but... Actually, I think that just makes it worse," Alex gulped down the lump in her throat, leaning closer to Sylver. None of it felt real.  That they were watching a trial. A trail lead by teenagers, against a teenager, about the murder of a teenager. They had to act like adults. They had to grow up and be the law and order of a town. And it made the entire situation more real. The fact that they didn't have the people older than them to guide them through it all. "A week before my sister died, um... I was complaining about how crazy it was that we had to take care of everything. You know, everything was our decision. And she was like, 'Really? Well Alexander the Great Conquered the whole world when he was our age.' Which was kind of annoying of her. Well, we own it all now. The good and the bad, and it's for real."
