Alex and Sylver entered the house. They decided to head back to her's to collect a few things before moving into Sylver's which was next to Allie's house. She huffed, sitting on the sofa. He sat next to her, holding her hand. "Sy,"

"Yeah?"

"I need to get something off my chest. I know you said to only tell yoou when I'm ready and I don't think I am... But if I keep this in, I might explode," He nodded his head, turning to face her, but keeping a hold of her hands. She played with his fingers, not looking at him. "Grizz, Harry, Campbell and I were were in my house,"

Grizz laughed as Campbell, Harry and Alexandrea filled their mouths with whipped cream. Alex was the first to eat it jumping up and making the boys laugh, causing them to spit it out. A teenage girl looks around the corner. She's at least 16 with short brown hair and blue eyes like Alex. "Hey sis," Alex calls out, the chubby cheeked girl grinning.

"Hey, drea. You guys having fun?"

"Yeah, we're playing truth or dare!" Grizz responded. No one noticed at hat time, but the eldest girl was trying not to cry as she watched her sister smile and dance with her friends. The carefree girl everyone remebers so well.

"Have fun. I love you Alexandrea," Alex furrowed her brows, her siter had never called her by her full name before. Nevertheless, she smied at her sister with the biggest smile she could muster.

"I love you too, Merina," She slid back dawn to sit with her friends as her sister travelled up the stairs. They played the game, going between each other. All of them laughing and enjoying the time they were having together. None of them knew what was occurring up the stairs.

"Okay, Alex. Truth or dare?" Harry asked. She thought about it, resting her hands on her cheeks. She pouted her lips, not knowing which would be the better option.

"Truth,"

"Do you have a crush on Campbell," Her mouth dropped open as he asked the question. She didn't know how to react. Yes, she did, but he was sat right next to her. Campbell smirked. All three of the boys awaiting an answer.

Before she could answer, a loud bang sounded from upstairs. All of them sat in silence, their eyes wide. No one knowing what to do. Alex shot up and ran up the stairs, ignoring her friends calling for her. She already felt her world crumbling, falling to it's knees. She looked around to see the bathroom door closed slightly. She walked over hesitantly, but opened it. Her heart dropped and an inhuman scream escaped her. Everything was a blur as she looked at her sister, laying on the floor, her eyes open. The blue now seemingly grey. She could hear someone on the phone as two other people held her, trying to stop her from looking at it.

Present day

"Campbell and Grizz were the ones holding me while Harry called for an ambulance. I was nine, nearly ten. After that my Dad rushed home and found me with them. It was a big thing on our road, everyone came out to see. I remember screaming when they tried to get me away from her, and being talked toby a paramedic. My mum and dad started arguing a few weeks later, and I cut everyone off. All three of the people who were there. Then my mum left and I was even more alone. I hated my dad, especially since he was never home, always working." She huffed. Finally finishing the story. It was a moment that had haunted her and engraved in her mind.

Sylver sat there quiet. She was scared he would get up and leave. Instead, he hugged her. Pulled her close and held her tight. "You've been through a lot, so thank you for opening up to me. Also, I'm still not leaving you anytime soon. I want you to know you can talk to me about anything,"

"Thank you," She said before placing a kiss on his cheek and pulling back from the hug. "Can you get the stuff out of the bathroom for me?" He nodded his head taking the bag that was in her hand. She walked up to her room, but stopped when she saw her father's door open. She decided to go in and see if she could find any ruminant of him. Rummaging around the various odd boxes, she found a journal. The heard covers worn. She flicked to a page, to see it was the day her mother left.

'How dare she? After all this time, all this pain of watching our daughter turn to depression as she saw the dead body of her sister! And she was the cause of it all. She has been having an affair. My beautiful Merina found out and her witch of a mother decided to make her feel guilty. She said to her that if she told me, she'd ruin Alexandrea's life. How ironic that she did, her mother did. I can't tell Alex. She's been through hell already. Her mother just left as well. God! Why can't this world give her a break. I've had to start working multiple jobs to keep us stable. I just hope she doesn't hate me too much. You know, I think she's going to be the greatest Director ever. I'm saving up to buy her a camera! I just hope she'll like it. I want her to go far. It's what Merina would have wanted for her,' a tear dropped onto the page. She froze. She had blamed her father for everything that happened. It was her mother's fault. She killed her sister, while not directly, subconsciously. And her mother painted her father as the monster.

"Al, do you-" He stopped as he saw her and quickly rushed to her side, "What's wrong?" She shook her head, biting her lip.

"It wasn't his fault, Sy. I blamed him for everything! I'm a horrible daughter," She sobbed, curling into him. He looked at the book reading the last lines.

'I'd rather her grow up and hate me, than hate her mother and give up. I want to see her thrive in life. I want to see my little girl smile once more. Just one more time."
