There was a sea of teenagers dancing. Ignoring what was occurring at the current moment. They were just trying to live their lives like normal teenagers. Partying, drinking and getting lost with the beats in the music playing. Between the sea, there were two people. Jumping up and down, dancing with the  rest of the crowd.

Alexa swayed her body, letting music control her actions. Allowing herself to get lost. Sylver watched her like a hawk. He couldn't stop smiling. He watched as the blue dress swirled around her legs, as she opened her eyes to reveal the light blue. "What are you looking at?"

"You, obviously," He grabbed her hand spinning her around, the dress swirling with her motion. "I'm going to go and get us drinks,"

"Okay. I'm going to find Grizz," He shouted over the music. They parted ways and her eyes began scanning the room for the familiar face. Her eyes instead landed on two people she never thought she would see together. Harry and Campbell talking. Harry caught her eyes and stopped. Campbell turned to see what he was looking at. His eyes caught her, and stuck. She smiled at them, giving them both a small wave. A wave of pain flowed through her body, but she walked over to them, ignoring her gut. "What are you two doing?" She asked sitting next to Harry.

"Just talking Alex," Harry said quickly. She frowned, the fake smile wiping from her face.

"Got it," She stood up again, walking towards the exit, just wanting to be able to breathe. She stepped into the icy air, felling her body let go of what it was holding. She knew they wouldn't just be her friend, but expected a little more than that. She bite her lip until she tasted the metallic liquid staining her lip. Her eyes lined with tears as she bowed it.

"Al," She looked up and blinked rapidly. He stood in front of her, concern written on his face. "What happened?" He tilted her head up gently, looking at her bleeding lip. She pulled away, stepping back and wrapping her arms around her body.

"Nothing. I'm fine,"

"Al,"

"I'm gonna make my own way home," She could feel her heart string pulling apart. He watched her, even more confused. He stepped forwards to stop her but she began marching off, keeping her arms close to her body. She took deep breath, trying to keep the water controlled as it threatened to burst the banks.

"No your not," He shouted. She flinched but turned to him, her eyes wide like a deer in headlights. His stance softened as she saw her. Her body was quivering and she could see the silver tears in her eyes. "Hey. It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you," He wrapped his arms around her. She tensed, but once the smell of lavender hit her, she crumbled. She curled into the warmth he emitted.

"I'm sorry," He shook his head, then laid a kiss to her forehead.

"You don't have to be sorry for anything, Al. I get that you don't want to talk about things, and you don't. Not until your ready, even if it takes it until we die and were ghosts in the afterlife. But, I will always be ready to listen. I'm ready to hear you scream, cry and shout. I will hold you through every breakdown and help fix the crown on you're head." She looked at him, feeling her heart swell in her chest. The torn strings stitching themselves together. "I am here for you. I'll protect you, fight for you and push you to fight for yourself. And I promise to never hurt you in the way that other's have. Even if I don't know how they did, tell me when I've fucked up. Okay,"

"I love you," Were the only words that could leave her lips. His support building back the pieces she thought she lost. For a moment, it felt like she had been whole her entire life. Being broken, sometimes the only thing you need is someone to walk into your life and fill in the cracks. Glue the shattered parts together and reinforce the walls. He did it all. He made her feel strong. The Vestige of her old life becoming stronger. She was alive. Under the midnight sky, with him, she was complete.

The scars would stay, she knew that. She was still weary and wanted to go slow. But finding this missing piece was enough to keep her going. Even if he were to leave, she'd understand what it would feel like to be whole. To be loved. To find love. "I'm not leaving you. I love you too Alexandrea Bex,"

It's a short part, but to me important. It's the bridge into their relationship and shows how he makes her feel. She's been through a lot and I will get into that at some point. But I also wanted to show that anyone who reads this and feels lost and broken, someone or something is out there that will make you feel whole. I found it in my friends and I've never been happier.

I will always be here to rant to or talk to. You are not alone.

Lot's of love,

Paige xx.
