"Al!" Alex spun around to see Grizz running up to her. "You were gone before I woke up this morning. Are you okay?" His eyes scanned her. She swallowed the lump in her throat. She should have left a note or something to tell him where she had gone."I'm fine. I was hanging out with Sylver," Grizz let out a sigh of relief. A small smile poked at his lips.
"You could have let me know, at least,"
"I know. I know. I'm sorry," Grizz pulled her into a hug. She wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her head on his shoulder.
"As long as your not hurt,"
"Not at all,"
"Anyway, Kelly and I are going to be planning prom..." Alex pulled away. Her eyebrows pulling together. She thought it was weird. With everything that had happened and was happening, prom seemed a little out of the blue.
"Prom?"
"Kelly thought that it would be a good idea. It would be fun and would give us some idea of normality," Alex nodded her head, thinking back to the dress in the back of her wardrobe. "So, do you want to help out?"
"I would love to. Shall we go?"
"We shall," Grizz linked their arms together, making Alex laugh. They walked towards the building where the prom would be held.

A plaque with a picture of a young boy was set up on a stand. 'Congratulations Bobby Aronson,' above his picture. Alexandrea's eyes wandered around the room. The entire party was to be space theme. The blues again reminding Alexandrea of her dress.
"I taught him how to swim. He was the son of my mum's medical partner. Uh, the bar is fully stocked, and there's a cake in the fridge. It's seen better days, but could make a nice centrepiece."
"Ah, yes. The traditional blue and silver prom cake," Kelly added.
"So, out of this world?" Alexandrea asked. Her eyes still scanning across the room.
"How did they know?" Grizz added making them all laugh. Alex and Grizz looked for the cake. The brilliant blues standing out against the silver frosting. "So, you and Sylver, huh?"
"We only just started talking. He's a good friend," Grizz watched as a slight pink rushed to her cheeks. She kept her eyes on the cake, wondering how they'd get it out of there. Grizz shook his head. He had noticed over the years how they would give each other glances. Both too scared to even say hello to each other.
"I think were going to need some help to get this out of here,"
"And its freezing. Can we go back into the building and get out of this giant fridge?"
"What's the magic word?"
"Abracadabra,"
"Perfect! Let's go," They laughed walking out of the door. Arms linked.

"Hey Sylver,"
"Hey," The boy walked in and sat on the sofa next to her. Her eyes were stuck in her book, analysing every line. He looked at the cover. 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,' "That's my favourite book in the series."
"You read Harry Potter?" Alexandrea's head shot up to look at him. Her eyes wide in fascination.
"Obviously. I'm offended you would ask that," He mockingly put his hand over his heart and let out a laugh. "I am a Slytherin after all,"
"Ravenclaw over here,"
"That makes so much sense,"
"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked. He rolled his eyes at her.
"You're smart, creative, accepting and kind. Your getting the top grades in most of your classes. Your drawings are immaculate. Your writing is insanely amazing. I have never met someone more loving and accepting than you, and I've only known you for a few days," A shy smile lit up her face. Her heart fluttering in her chest along with the butterflies.
"Thank you," She blushed, pushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Anyway, I was going to have a movie marathon. Do you want to join me?"
"Hell yeah," Sylver jumped up and down before running to the kitchen to make some popcorn. Alexandrea put on the first movie and waited for Sylver. Not long after he sat down beside her. He had a childlike grin on his face. "Let's begin," He mumbled resting his head on her shoulder.
"Okay you big kitty," She said, allowing the movie to start, resting her head on top of his.
Merry Christmas! Or if you don't celebrate happy holidays. I will see you all in 2020!
