Falling Into The Deep End

Chapter 3

Nathans point of view

I let myself into the Morrison's house. Samantha and Austin (Noah and Rosabelle's parents) always get mad when I knock. I love the Morrison's they are more of my family than my actual family. I head upstairs to see if Noah's ready when I hear a soft guitar playing and someone singing. I find myself following where the voice is coming from. Its her. I just found the girl I have been in love with since the moment I met her singing in the most beautiful voice. She was beautiful as it is now, I have another reason to be in love with her.

She sings lyrics I don't recognize:

Then I wonder if were to be gone someday,

would he come looking my way,

would he save my grace, with just one look at my face

or would he just go and walk away

thankful that I didn't stay

I wish that I could just forget him,

like he had done with me

I hope that all the notes that I wrote to him would make him come back to me......

I can't help but interrupt:

"Wow, that's beautiful." I say

"Oh God, Nathan your scared the shit out of me." She says startled

"I didn't know you were so talented. Did you write that?" I say

She smiles shyly. "Yeah, thank you. No one knows I sing or play guitar. I bought the guitar a couple years ago behind everyone's back" she says quietly

I look at her, shook. "How come?" I ask curiously

"Music is just me. I do it without anyone's help and its my escape. I write how I feel which makes everything so personal that I am scared of being judged but that's not the only reason it's something I want to do on my own." She says shyly "I would really appreciate if you didn't say anything to anyone"

I feel for her. "Sure" ultimately its not my secret to tell.

"Thank you" she says as she stands up and pulls me into a hug "For everything including the other day".

"No problem" I say as she pulls away.

I didn't expect her to bring it up, but I won't push it. If she wants to talk about it, she will.

As I walk away, I say "Hurry up, Noah is already downstairs"

"I am coming" she says as she walks behind me.

When we reach downstairs.

Noah says, "Thank god, what took you so long?"

"Sorry" Rosabelle mumbles

"I went to get her. God, your sister takes ages" I say

"Gee, thanks" she says

"OK, you two can fight later. Let's go."

As we walk, I turn around and wink at her.

She blushes.

She's beautiful.

But I couldn't help but wonder who the song I heard earlier was about......

I chose this song the show the feelings between Nathan and Rosabelle the following lyrics "Not really sure how to feel about it, Something in the way you move, Makes me feel like I can't live without you, It takes me all the way, I want you to stay" it shows the the way they feel.
