Chapter 21

Isabelle follows me out of Hessa's room. Then looks at me with a pointed expression.

"He's the father, huh?" She asks 

I nod

"One down and 3 more to go. You know whats harder than telling Nathan?" I ask her

She shakes her head

"Telling Noah that I fucked his best friend when I was 16" I tell her

She laughs

"Like when we told Jackson that we used to date" She says

"That reminds me. He's making me sing tonight so I had promise that he won't get laid tonight" I say

She laughs and then nods

....

We find the boys on the balcony and they are all laughing. I go and sit down next to Daniel. He wraps his arm around me and leans to ask me is I am okay. I nod

"Where's Nathan?" Noah asks

"Upstairs" I say

I lock eyes with Isabelle and she nods

"What's he doing upstairs?" Oliver asks

"Ummm" I start but then my phone pings telling me that I have a text

Linda: Hey, I'm here. Should I come upstairs?

Belle: Yup, just come in and we are on the balcony

As I am about to close the phone I look at the date today. Soon enough, my head is in my hands as I take a moment to hate myself

I take a deep breath and get up

"Where are you going?" Daniel asks

I shake my head disappointed in myself

"Like the horrible mother that I am, I just remembered that I promised Hessa that I would spend the day with her. God, I should prioritise her but I forgot and now Linda is coming" I say, close to crying

"Hey, it's fine. You should go. I'll take care of everything" Daniel say

I hug him

"Thank you. I don't know what I would do without you" I say then I hurry of to grab my daughter to take her out
