Its been a month since everyone started acting strange. Noah's always wearing a beanie and whenever I ask him why he says its because he is very cold, like, I get it, its cold but seriously he is always wearing it. Nathan's been so distant. We are still dating but no one knows. The only thing thats normal is the fact that my parents are back to never being home. There's a new worker called Linda and I have no idea what she's there for.
I guess I'll just wait until everything makes sense.
                              ...........
                              NATHAN'S POINT OF VIEW
I decided to get more details on whats going with Noah. I know what it is but I don't know the details. I wish I could tell Rosabelle but I promised Noah that I won't say anything to anyone. I know she's suspicious and I don't know what to do.
I enter their house once I know Rosabelle is asleep and head to Noah's room. I texted him to tell I am coming and to make sure he is awake.
I go into the room and see Noah sitting on the bed with a book and with no beanie on. I close the door behind me and lean against it. He looks up.
"Seriously, how long is this going to go on for? She needs to know. I can't believe you didn't tell her. I know she's worried." I say annoyed
                              He sighs and gets up
"How am I supposed to tell her? She's my sister. You know how she is and she'll never stop worrying. She's been through so much and there's so much more that I don't know." he says
I look down guiltily and when I look up, I see him eyeing me suspisiously.
"Look, it doesn't matter what she hides and what she doesn't. This is serious, you need to tell her. She needs time to process this and it will be horrible if she finds out some other way." I say
"I don't know" he says softly
"DUDE, SHE NEEDS TO KNOW YOU HAVE STOMACH CANCER!!!!" I shout
Suddenly, the door opens and Rosabelle comes in, completly devasated.
                              "What?" her voice breaks
                              ..........
                              ROSABELLE'S POINT OF VIEW
I keep thinking about what could be going on with everyone. I can't sleep. Eventually, I give up and head to the kitchen as I pass Noah's bedroom door and hear voices. Curiously gets to me so I press my the door. Its Nathan and Noah.
"Look, it doesn't matter what she hides and what she doesn't. This is serious, you need to tell her. She needs time to process this and it will be horrible if she finds out some other way." Nathan says
"I don't know" Noah says softly
"DUDE, SHE NEEDS TO KNOW YOU HAVE STOMACH CANCER!!!!" Nathan shouts
What, I think. This must the secret before anything else happens. I open the door with tears streaming down my face.
Both of them snap their heads to my direction and I say the one thing I can say:
"What?" and then I break down in tears
