AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Omg it's been so long since i've written more of this... IM SO SORRY D; Anywho, here's another Arie chapter... enjoyyy!
Arie's POV-
"And that, is why I'm the most popular kid in school," Edward says, after a 10 minute long explanation.
"But you've forgotten, I never asked," I say.
"And you've forgotten, you're not popular," Adam says. This is how our daily lunch table discussion goes. It's me, sitting next to Ed, then Randy, then Bob, then Adam, then Marcia (who is directly across from Randy and you can so tell they're playing footsies) and then Cherry next to me. Ed always brings up some reason as to why he's so fantastic, and Adam always gets annoyed and tries to keep his mouth shut, but always ends up stating his opinion. Then Ed looks at Adam like he wants to yell at him, but instead Ed turns to me and talks to me.
"Well, I'd like to know everything about you, and I'd like you to know everything about me. That okay?" Ed asks. Is this flirting? This is definitely 2015 flirting... except it's not 2015 here.
"It's okay, but be careful. Once I know everything about you, there will be no mystery left in our relationship," I say.
"Our relationship?" Ed asks, smiling. Crap, did it really sound like that? I roll my eyes, then look at Cherry like I do every day, asking for help with my eyes.
"Arie, I think I left my English book at home. Would you mind coming with me during free period to get it?" Cherry asks.
"Oh not at all. You know what, let's go now. I'm done with my lunch anyways," I say.
"Bye," Cherry and I say as we walk out. I catch a glimpse of Ed's somewhat stunned face, as I very easily just got out of that conversation.
"Wow, thanks so much. I don't know how I would have answered that," I say.
"Do you like him?" Cherry bluntly asks, as we walk out of the school.
"I don't know, he's nice, and somewhat good looking, and funny," I say.
"So yes?" Cherry asks.
"I don't know!" I exclaim.
"Oh okay so you dooo like him," Cherry smiles. I think for a moment. I do talk to him a lot, and he is always complimenting me, trying to get to know me, treating me like a lady.
"Yes," I say, "I do."
Cherry squeals with excitement, "I knew it!"
"Oh please," I say, "is it really that obvious?"
"Yes," Cherry says, opening the door to her house.
"Well then.." I say, sounding offended, "I'll be in my room I have to check my phone."
"Kay.. wait, your phone?" Cherry says.
"Yeah.. my iphone..?" I say.
"What's that!" Cherry asks.
"Uhh right.. 1965... it's a phone only you can carry it around and text people, which is sending messages to people. And you can check social media and listen to music," I explain.
"Who else has one?" Cherry asks.
"Well, everyone back home. But I can't connect with them, but I still check just in case," I say.
"Wow, that's mighty fine," Cherry says.
"Oh? Uh.. okay," I say, putting my phone back.
"So you like your room?" Cherry asks.
"Yes, I do. It's so nice of you to let me stay with you," I say.
"Well, of course. We can be like sisters!" Cherry squeals.
"Like sisters," I say, smiling.
"And I can be your match-making coach. First order of business? We're going to ask Randy and Bob if Ed likes you. I'm sure I can get them to tell, after all, I am Bob's girlfriend," Cherry says, smiling.
"Oh god.." I say.
