AUTHORS NOTE (6/14/19):
Hey guys! This is a project of mine that has been a work-in-progress for years now, and I'm finally revisiting it! As with any work-in-progress, it's not going to be perfect, so there may be some typos here and there, but hang in there! If there's one thing I have to say about this fanfic, it's that it's definitely an original idea, and it gets better as you read on! I have big things in store for this story, so keep reading!
Disclaimer: I do not own "The Outsiders" nor do I own any of the characters except Spencer and Arianna. All righs go to S.E. Hinton.

Spencer's POV-
"Oh. My. God! That was sooo good!" Arianna squeals. We just finished watching the movie The Outsiders.
"I told you!" I say with a smile.
"Wow I can't believe you never showed me this!" Arianna says, "You've seen it like a billion times!"
"Um no, try 5 times," I say, raising an eyebrow.
"Same difference," Arianna says with an eye roll.
"I'd totally be a greaser," I say, smoothing back my hair.
"Nah.. I don't know.. you sometimes dress like a soc," Arianna says.
"Well yeah, I mean this is the twenty-first century," I say, "but I think we're definitely greasers at heart."
"Definitely," Arianna smiles. This was my 5th time watching The Outsiders; I could watch it one thousand times over and still not get bored of it. Arianna just watched it for the first time-- finally! I've been begging her to watch it with me for what feels like forever.
"You gonna go read the book now?" I ask. "Arie?!" I say, after a silent minute.
"Oh, sorry! I was just thinking about how cool it would be to live in that movie, ya know?" Arie sighs.
"Yeah, I know. The Outsiders is basically all I've thought about since my English teacher handed us the book," I say, smiling.
"Maybe I should start actually reading books in English class.." Arie says, frowning.
"Gee.. maybe.." I say sarcastically.
"So," Arie says, plopping down next to me on the couch, "what do you wanna do, birthday girl?"
I smiled, "It's not my birthday."
"Okay, what do you want to do, 'a few days after your birthday' girl?" Arie laughs.
"Try a few months," I say, rolling my eyes, "my birthday was July 10th. It's September, in case you didn't know."
"Not my fault you were on vacation when I was ready and willing to celebrate your birthday," Ariel shrugs.
"And it's not my fault you were on vacation when I got back from mine and tried throwing a party," I say.
"Summer's busy. But hey, this right here, this is your birthday 'partaaay!'" Arie says, exaggerating the word 'party.'
"Ew.." I say.
"Shut up, I brought you a present and everything, don't be a bitch," Arie says.
"I'm not a bitch!" I laugh, "it's just not my birthday."
"You're right. It's your birthday party." Arie says, smugly.
"That's really unfortunate then, if my birthday party is just us sitting on my bed watching old movies and eating cake,"
