Joes POV

"No, of course not." I said, pressing the side of my face against the door. "Let me in princess,"

"I..." then, I heard a scream and a clash. Riley had just fallen out of the window...

"Dianne!" I screamed, running downstairs, "Riley fell out of the window!"

Dianne screamed too, going outside to see Riley laying on the floor unconscious. "Oh my god..." she said. "Right Joe, let's not waste any time, get your phone and ring my parents and 999! Now!" I hurriedly grabbed my phone and dialled the number.

When a man picked up on the other end of the phone I told him the whole story and he said he would be right there.

"They're coming," I said, Dianne was now in tears and screaming.

5 minutes later...

We must now have nearly the whole neighbourhood crowded round her, her siblings have joined us and Ella is crying hysterically and The twins don't even know what to do. Once emergency services arrived they told everyone to be calm and to return to their houses safely. Then they talked to us about Riley...

"So what exactly was she doing to fall out of the window?" The paramedic asked. I shrugged, "She locked her door because she thought we didn't love her anymore, I was talking to her and then I heard a scream, I went out to look and saw her on the floor." The woman nodded, "It looks to me as though she tripped over something, see this cut on her heel, she must have tripped over something backwards, then fallen."

Dianne nodded, tears in her eyes, "So will she be okay?"

The woman nodded, "she will be fine with a bit of care and looking after, she can return home in about 1 week."

I was relieved to hear that, but as they put her on the stretcher I wish I was by her side. To hug her one last time before we never saw her again...
