Joe's PoV
I'm on my way to the Dogs Trust centre in London as me and Dianne have decided its time to get a puppy for the kids. They've shown us, over the past couple of weeks, that they are responsible enough to care for one.
So, I left Dianne and the kids at the house whilst I go and get the dog we saw last week when we visited. I'm very excited, it's a springer spaniel and it's Di's dream dog!

I can't wait to show the puppy to the kids, they have been wanting one for ages and now they really deserve it.

20 minutes later

I've got the puppy! And it wasn't half as complicated as last time when I got Nala for Zoe. We had to sign about 300 different contracts have about 100 checks on Zo's home. And yeah, it was a very long process. Now Zoe has Aria, it would take even longer.

I placed the puppy into his cage in the backseat of my car and smiled looking at it poking its nose through the gaps. I gave him a little bowl of water for the journey and we headed of home, home to show the kids.

Dianne's PoV
The was a knock at the door  and I knew it was Joe, he always did the same type of knock every time and I kinda knew it now. "Mummy, there's someone at the door." Zack said, giggling. I got up to go and get it.

"Kids we have something to show you," Joe said, placing the puppy onto the table so they couldn't quite see it yet.

"I'm scared," Riley said, hugging my leg. "Don't be scared." I said, picking her up.

"3, 2, 1,"

The kids screamed and I've never seen them with bigger smiles on their faces, they crowded around the dog, giving it attention and I have to say, they are good with dogs.

"Happy?" I asked.

They nodded, "Very."
