Meet and Greets

Joe's PoV
'The day is finally here' I thought to myself, unlocking my phone and turning my alarm off. Dianne had already gone downstairs and I was still in bed, typical me.
I strolled through some of the fan pages, liking a couple of posts about people who are meeting us today. one girl said she was super nervous and I commented to her 'don't be nervous!'
The kids are super excited about today, Ella has already done a meet and greet a few years back when Zack and Jess were only toddlers. Riley's never done one and Brielle and Alex definitely haven't, unless they did with their other parents which is unlikely.
"Morning Daddy!" Riley giggled, coming into my room and jumping on the end of the bed, "I'm so excited for today! We get to meet loads of fans!"

"And we get to meet other youtubers." I reminded her.

"When do the buttercream gang find out about us? I know you have been hiding us for some time with them? When will we get to meet them?" She asked me, sitting next to me.

"I honestly don't know, maybe today if they do the buttercream M&G."

"Ooh, that could be cool! I have been dying to meet Jack and Conor ever since you did the number clamp challenge."

"Yes, that was... what can I say? Painful!" We both laughed, "Come on then princess, let's go eat and get our stuff packed."

"Ok daddy,"

She jumped off my bed and ran downstairs whilst I grabbed her suitcase from under my bed, along with the other kids bags and suitcases.
We were going to stay in a hotel near the venue for a couple of nights so we had to bring a change of clothes.

"Morning," Dianne said to me as I walked into the kitchen, giving me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled and hugged her, "Morning Di."

I looked at all the kids, "Excited Guys?!"

They all nodded and Ella laughed, "It's a bit scary sometimes, but you have to think how they feel as they are meeting their idols!"

Riley thought for a moment, "But, you know, it's weird to think that even though I'm young, I'm someone's idol..."

I nodded, "you sure are, every one of you is, all the subscribers love you!"

They giggled, "Thats so weird to think about!" Jess smiled.

Once everyone was done eating, and had changed and showered, I dried Ella and Jess's hair whilst Riley insisted she could do hers on her own, which wasn't very believable.

"Daddy I do need your help!" She said, coming into the room as I was doing Ella's hair, she lay on the end of her bed, "It's too hard!"

I laughed, "I told you that you needed Daddy to help you."

She nodded, "I do."

Once I had finished them all and we were ready to leave the house, I had to do the usual and strap all of the kids into their seats, and pack all of the bags into the boot. Once that was done, I had nothing to worry about but the traffic we were going to face on the way down there, all the fans and people coming would be setting off now.

I shut the boot and opened the doors to make sure Brielle and Alex were still strapped in, I always did this as they tend to like unplugging their belts. I got into the front seat and put the keys in, making the engine start.

"Has everyone got everything they need?" Dianne asked them all.

"Yes." The chorused, but god I hope they did.

"Then let's go!!"
