Part 23: Florida Day 3

Dianne's POV
I woke up with a strong sense of reality... we were supposed to pick the twins up for a day out today.

Joe walked in and saw me pale. "Hey,, whats up?" He asked me. Sitting down next to me on the bed.

"We were supposed to take Brielle and Alex out for their official adoption trip today." I told him.

His eyes widened, "Oh..."

Joes POV

Dianne told me that she was going home to pick up the twins and she said, that, if she could she would bring them here with us. I needed really to go to and I thought that maybe Ella would be on her own for a couple of days?

"Ella, come over here." I said, patting the chair next to me.

She walked over to me and jumped onto the sofa beside me, "Yes Daddy?"

"Today was supposed to be the day of the twins kind of adoption trip, like a day out sort of thing." I explained, she nodded, "and mummy's had to go back for them otherwise we lose custody of them and we have to do this all again."

"Daddy, if you need to go with her you can go. It's fine." She assured me.
"But would you be ok with the kids for a couple of days?"
"Of course, they aren't much work."

"Alright, round up the others and tell them, I will get a taxi to the airport booked for me."

5 minutes later

Ella told the other kids the plan and they all agreed to be good for Ella.

Once I had booked my taxi, I spent a little bit of time with the kids in the park before I really did have to go.

"Right Guys, I'm going to get in my taxi, and you guys remember be good for Ella." I said as I edged towards the taxi. They blew kisses at me and gave me a big hug and i was in, doors shut, driving away.

Ella's PoV
I turned to my siblings as it was getting late and I bent down to Riley's height, "Come on guys let's get back."

I held Riley and Zack's hands as Jess was the more responsible twin and I hurried us along.

I felt the money Daddy had given me in my pocket and I made sure that I still had all 1000 of it.

"Ok, I've got the key."
I unlocked the door and we flooded in, flopping on the beds.

"Ella can you put the TV on for us?" Riley asked me, coming onto my lap and hugging me. I did just that and we sat and watched Peppa Pig for a little while.
