Part 25:

Joes POV

I sat beside dianne and the new little twins, Brielle and Alex. We were on a day out and today was the official day we were going to be adopting them. I was so excited and i knew the others would be too.

I was obviously still worried about the other 4, actually very worried, but i mean, they'll be ok with the employees. Just as long as none of them come along and tell them they have the right to arrest them. That would be stupid.

"So, guys, what do you think about going and meeting your siblings?"

"Yes." Brielle told me, playing with Dianne's hair, she was sat on her lap, Alex on mine. "That would be fun."

"Alright dianne?" I asked, she was scrolling through her insta feed and looking a bit worried.

"Oh yeah," she laughed looking up, "sorry, i was enthralled into a post about a magazine."

I smiled, "Oh ok, you looked dead serious."

"Are you guys going to go and play over there with the toys?" Dianne asked, clearly wanting to talk to me alone.

"Yes!" Cried Alex, jumping off my lap and running over to a digger toy and a dump truck. Brielle played with the princess dolls, the things Riley had loads of.

"Right, there is one thing i need to ask you." She started, putting her hand on my leg, "about the other kids, what are we going to do? Are we going to fly back over with 2 toddlers? Or are we going to have to get someone to come back with them?"

I thought for a second, "um." "I mean, we could ask Zoe? She's in Orlando at the moment, she could look after them and maybe bring them back with her tomorrow?" I suggested.

Dianne nodded, "Thats not a half bad idea, makes sense really, instead of them being along. But will Zoe be able to, with aria and all."

"Look at it this way, we have 6 kids now, zoe has 1, and Aria loves her cousins, she's 3 at the end of the day." I explained, "She's looked after them before."

"Yeah, when Aria wasn't here,"

"You have a point but its worth asking, there's a half chance she will say no and a half chance she will say yes. We may as well ask."

I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and pulled up Zo's contact. "I'll message her right now."

I texted:
Hey Zo, i know you are on holiday and everything right now with Alf and Aria, but i was wondering whether you would maybe be able t0 look after my 4. We had to rush back with the adoption and everything, we left them with Ells but I didn't know whether you would be able to look after them until tomorrow when you come home. Its fine to say no, they can be fine for a night on their own if you can't. Lots of Love, Joe xx

I put my phone down on the side and didn't expect to see Zoe's speech bubble pop up so fast. Around 2 minutes later a message came through, reading:
Hi Joey, yes that's absolutely fine, I wouldn't want to see you struggling. So that's fine, where are they at the moment? Alfie will pick them up. Me and Aria are having a girly shop, cant wait until your 3 girlies can join us. Zo xx

I texted her all the details and she told Alfie, that was all good then. Thank god thats sorted.
