Dianne's POV
"Nana's here!" I said, running to the door to open it. "Heya mum." I smiled.
"Hello Dot, excited?" For one second I was confused at what she meant, none of the kids were behind me, neither was Joe, but then I realised about the adoption.
"Yup, 2 months then we are allowed to completely have custody of them." I exclaimed, but not too loud. "Come in then."
As soon as we were sat down and Joe was helping the kids get ready I told mum about the following night with Ella. "And she found out so I said we would take her to the meeting this morning." I finished.
"That's lovely dot, well, one less hyper child for me to have to deal with." Rina said.
"I'm sorry mum." I said.
"Only joking, it's no problem, I love looking after them." She laughed as Ella came into the room wearing a pretty summer dress with flowers on it.
"Going to the meeting then? Maybe look around the adoption centre?" Mum said, putting Ella onto the sofa beside her. "Yeah, I'm really excited." She told her, "Mummy, when do we find out who we are adopting?"
"Whenever we have looked through the adoption files i guess." I smiled, ruffling her hair.
"Can I help?" She asked, "I can't wait, will they be older or younger then me?"
"I don't know," i laughed, "come on, we have to be there soon, lets go get you in the car."
Ella nodded and grabbed her favourite teddy as i helped her into her car seat and buckled her in. "There."
I hugged all the other kids goodbye and joe started the engine as i was getting in. "Ready?"
"Sure thing, but the question is? Are you ready?" I giggled, giving him a hug.
"Hm, I'm kinda nervous, we haven't adopted before."
"Yeah, but hopefully it will be a ew adventure and hopefully we will make some girl or boy happier."
I was just so excited!!! I had never expected to be this excited!
