Part 14

Joes POV

1 week after the last chapter

I waited. Beside the phone for the call to say I could come and pick Riley up. Today was the day for it.

I had missed Riley so much, at the end of the day she was my little princess.

The phone rang. My heart pounded in my chest.

"Hello is this Mr Joseph Sugg?" The caller asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"We have some bad news." She began, I knew what she was going to say, she needed to stay in longer, "Riley has sadly passed away..."

My heart stopped beating, as I put the phone down and screamed. Dianne came running into the hallway a horrified look on her face.

"What happened?" She cried, throwing her arms around me.

"Riley, Riley, um, Riley passed away...." I told her.

I saw her face go from horrified to distraught. "No..."

I nodded, "My little prin..." I couldn't even say it anymore, it hurt me to...

"We must go to her right now," Dianne said, and she pulled me out of the door and I tot the car. "Yes we must," I agreed as we set off.

I have never gone so fast and every time a police car pulled me over they let me off as I told them the whole situation.

When we arrived at the hospital I saw a little girl running towards me, "Daddy!!!!" She screamed happily.

I couldn't believe my eyes it was Riley. I hugged her and I told myself, "It's a miracle."

And then I shook awake and Riley lay happily beside me. It was all a dream, well, a nightmare!
