Kid free

Joes PoV
"Thanks again Amy, you are an absolute saint." I laughed, putting the phone down after blowing kisses and giving virtual hugs to my 6 kids who were staying at Amy and Ben's whilst me and Dianne have a kid free weekend. Amy doesn't seem to mind having to babysit, she says it will get her prepared to have a kid herself and she says It will help Ben too.
I was kind of nervous to leave the kids with someone else, but aren't most parents. I know that I can trust Ames though, she has worked with loads of kids before at her dance studio, 'Art In Motion Dance Academy' so I have no doubts that she can look after them very well.

Dianne's PoV
I woke up from my nap, probably the 1st I've had throughout the day since I had Ella and the other 5 kiddos. I'm always so busy nowadays but I don't care as much as I used to. Amy is babysitting them today and i am absolutely confident she will do well. She's great with kids.
Joe had also promised me a 'Just Joanne' day, and he had booked us a spa day. And if you know me well, you know I love a good sauna and steam. So that's our plans for this kid free day!
Of course I still missed my 6 little beauties but it's never bad for anyone to spend a slice of time apart, after all, it means they won't be clinging to you in the future and that they won't always depend on you. Ella's never really been like that, neither have Jess or Zack, but when Riley came along it was a shock for us all. She was rather clingy, especially with Joe, but sometimes I would have to deprive her of him so we could at least get a few hours of sleep in our own bed. Ri isn't like that anymore obviously and she has grown to rely on herself.
I always remember when my mum would ask me, 'Di, what do you want your future kids, if you want to have them, to be like?' And I would always say, to anyone who asked me, 'I want them to be independent and I want them to know that they can do or achieve anything if they really do want it.' And I've achieved that. They are independent and they do know that they can do anything if they work hard and really want it.

Joe's PoV
I wrapped my dressing gown around me and walked into our bedroom. "Hey Di, What you up to?" I asked at seeing her fiddling about with the camera. "Oh hey Joey, I'm just watching back some old footage of us and the kids when they were younger, seen this one?" She laughed, pointing the camera towards me so I could see it. What I saw shocked me, a little girl in a pink and blue top with some black leggings on, who looked to be about 2, playing in the garden with a very tired looking Joseph Graham Sugg. I couldn't help but giggle, "Is that Ella?!" Dianne nodded to me, "Sure is." She took one look at it and smiled, "That was a good few years ago now wasn't it just."
I sat down on the bed with her for a short amount of time, as I was trying to make it to the sauna and steam earlier then we did last time, which FYI was around 2 hours after we were due to arrive. And we watched the older footage we had, there were even a few pics of us on Strictly!
"Come on Di, let's get ready to Go!" I said, checking my watching quickly. "Alright."

We both got ready and we headed to the place we were going to get our sauna and steam. Dianne was clearly excited, as she was nearly jumping up and down in her seat.
As we pulled in she kissed me on the cheek and said, "Thank you."
I smiled to her, "It's no problem, I know you love a sauna and steam."
