Avengers High School

One

The first day of school. The day you have a little bit of hope that this year will better. But then you realize that school is truly the worst and will never get better. Ever.

While waiting to find the energy to get out of your bed you considered pretending to be dead just so you wouldn't have to go. But then you heard your older brother making his way to the bathroom. And so just like that you were out of your bed and zooming down the hallway to make sure you got to the bathroom before him.

"Hey!" he protested as you slammed the door in his face.

"You snooze you lose."

"You were the one snoozing. I was out of bed before you! I should get the bathroom first!"

You creaked the door open just so he could see a sliver of your face, "No."

With that you went to work on making yourself look decent. As you finished up you heard Tony once again at the door complaining about how long you were taking. You pulled the door open making him stumble back.

"I get it first tomorrow," he called after you as you walked back to your room.

After getting dressed you made your way to the kitchen to fix yourself some sort of breakfast. You decided on some cereal. Once you began eating your mother entered the kitchen giving you a kiss on the head.

"Are you excited for your first day?"

"Yup," you lied, putting on a smile.

You quickly slurped up the rest of your cereal then made your way back to your room to grab your bag and shoes. You quickly began shoving things into the bag and began zipping it up as you went to find Tony.

He was still in the bathroom. So you did what he had done to you. You banged on the door and complained loudly waiting for him to finish whatever the hell he was doing. Finally he opened the door.

"What do you need?"

"For you to hurry up so I can get to school."

"I'm almost done," he said, going back to the mirror running his hands through his hair.

You slumped forward and began to whine more.

"Okay, fine, I'm done!"

You sat back up happily and made your way to the front door to wait for him. Finally he met you at the door. You pulled it open and yelled a goodbye to your mom then made your way to Tony's car, Tony close behind you.

Once to the car you threw your bag down in front of your seat then jumped into the car. Tony put his backpack in the back seat then got in the driver's seat.

"So glad she forgot about first day of school pictures," you said as he put his seat belt on.

"Oh yeah, dodged a bullet there."

He backed the car out of the driveway then made his way to Avengers High School.
