Friday after school you were at home prepping for your date with Peter. You weren't sure where you were going but you knew May had to take you. And how embarrassed Peter was because of it.

After a few hours of harassing Tony, you got a text from Peter saying they were coming to pick you up.

You looked up from your phone to Tony at his desk, "Okay, Peter's on his way so I'll leave you alone now."

"Thank god. Now I can actually get something done."

You smacked the back of his head as you walked to the door. Turning around you found him rubbing where you just hit him.

"Okay, bye loser. See you later."

"Have fun on your date!"

"But not too much fun, right?"

"Obviously."

Giving him a small smile you walked out of the door when he called you back.

"But seriously, have fun. And text me when you're on your way home so I know you're okay. Okay?"

"Okay, mom."

"Wow, okay. Sorry for showing you my love and affection."

"I'm going now," you said, pointing toward the direction you were leaving. "Love you, dumbass!"

"Love you too!"

By the time you got to the door, Peter and May were in the driveway. When May saw you walking to the car she gave you a big wave. You grinned and waved back. It had been way too long since you'd seen her last.

"How are you? It's been too long!" she said as you crawled into the back of the car.

"I'm good! How have you been?"

"I'm doing great! Ever since Pete told me he asked you out I've been bubbling with excitement," she said, backing out of the driveway.

"Oh yeah?" you said with a chuckle, looking over at Peter. He was sitting next to you looking grumpily out the window. Giving him a nudge he looked over at you with a pained expression making you bite back a giggle.

"Oh yeah. I've been waiting for Peter to ask you out since the beginning of the year."

"May," Peter groaned making your laugh finally slip out.

"He'd always come home from school talking all about you and how amazing you are."

"Really?" you said, intrigued by this new information.

"May!" Peter cried out. "We talked about this."

"Oh, right, right, boundaries. I'm sorry."

Peter huffed, sliding down in his seat. You looked over at him with a big stupid grin. He glared at you with flushed cheeks causing your grin to widen.

The rest of the ride remained fairly quiet. There was the soft buzz of music from the radio and some small talk with May.

Finally, she pulled up next to a pizza joint and Peter began scurrying out of the car. He beckoned for you to follow as you said goodbye and thanked May.

Once you were both out of the car May rolled down her window, "I'll be back here at about nine to pick you guys up okay?"

"Yeah, okay. Thank you May," Peter said.

"Of course. Have fun you two!"

With that, she pulled away leaving you and Peter alone.

"So-" you started.
