Thirty One

The last day of school. The only day in the school year you finally feel free. Knowing when you get home you won't have to worry about returning until the next school year. A day of pure bliss, joy, and...boredom. Teachers had nothing for you to do leaving you to suffer until the day ended.

You sat in your desk watching as the clock ticked down the minutes left until lunch. Yearbooks had just been handed out and you were excited to get with your friends to look through the years memories.

When the bell finally rang you picked up your belongings and went to find them. The second you were out the door you bumped into Sam with Bucky not far behind.

"Hey lil' Stark. Did you get a yearbook?" Sam asked.

"Indeed I did," you said holding it up.

"Pass it over so I can sign it. And sign mine while you're at it."

"Aye aye, captain."

"What are you talking about? We all know Steve is the captain."

You shrugged, "Yeah but he's leaving."

"So, Buck will probably take his place."

"Nah, I don't think so," you said looking at Bucky then back to him.

He looked at you with a skeptical look but smiled, "Yeah well, I guess we'll see."

After signing his book you talked to Bucky. As you were signing Bucky's  yearbook Shuri came running up to you giggling hysterically.

"Have you seen it yet?"

"Seen what?"

"The best page in this whole thing," Shuri said pointing at the book in your hand.

"I've not really looked through it yet. Give me a second."

She let out a groan but let you finish what you were doing. Once Bucky handed you back your yearbook you began flipping through it trying to find the page she was speaking of. You caught glimpses of pictures you'd have to look back at later but none were the ones Shuri wanted you to see.

"That one! That page! No, go back a few," she commanded, watching your every move.

You turned back a few pages, your mouth dropping when you saw it. Shuri laughed at your reaction, a few laughs escaping your mouth as well.

"Wha-? How?!"

"I have my ways. You know I couldn't just let these golden pictures go to waste."

The page was dedicated to the pranks pulled that year. More than half of them being pulled by you or Tony. The biggest picture on the page was one of your greatest achievements. Tony, Steve, Clint, Rhodes, Thor, Sam, and Bucky, all nearly naked and standing on the football field. You could be seen in the back of the photo laughing your ass off.

"This is amazing! I'm so happy you got it included with the others!"

"There's also this one someone managed to get," Shuri said pointing to another picture on the same page.

You burst into laughter when you saw it. It showed you, Shuri, and Peter running down a dark hallway. You all had mortified looks on your face thinking you were about to be murdered by the figure in the corner of the picture.

"I was convinced I was never gonna talk to Tony again after that," you snickered, examining the photo with glee.

There were also photos of the waterslide prank that featured a shirtless Thor and of the seniors sliding down said water slide. As well as a picture of you, Carol, and Pietro vandalizing Tony's locker that made you chuckle.
