Chapter 7
**next day**
"Hi Ahmed." I flashed a big smile when I saw him entering the classroom.
Sebastian was already seated next to me. I patted the seat in front of me to let Ahmed come and sit there.
Well, he came jogging towards us.
There were fifteen minutes left for the first lecture to begin. It was our core subject and we were asked to come early to this particular lecture.
Didn't know what the professor had in his mind asking us, poor freshers to start studying so soon.
I ignored the fact that I'd be attending a boring lecture even though I hoped it won't be that boring.
"Ahem, Haaniyah!" Ahmed cleared his throat looking at me.
"I heard what happened on the first day. Between you and those seniors," Ahmed said and Sebastian nodded.
"What?" I asked surprised. "How?"
He took a deep breath and looked around the class saying, "The whole class knows."
I didn't know how to reply to that. Being teased and bullied feels worse. To top it, people around you know it.
"Don't worry. It's just seniors and their little pranks. Don't let it get to your heart. They're nice people. Take it as a prank okay?" Ahmed asked with a brotherly smile looking at me, expecting a reply.
I nodded smiling back.
Lets take it as a prank then.
"Oh wait look!" Ahmed squealed suddenly showing me his cell phone screen.
Both Sebastian and I gave him confused glances. Why is he showing candy crush to us!
"Idiots, I'm on 32nd level," He exclaimed smiling proudly.
Seb and I gave a side glance to each other and shot Ahmed a crooked a grin. He looked at us quizzically as we pulled out our phone one by one.
He looked at my cell phone and his eyes widened. "You're on 60th level!" He shouted loud enough for all the heads to turn. I giggled.
Sebastian smirked at us showing his cell phone screen. Our eyes bulged out of our sockets. He was on 117th level! What the...
I didn't even know so many levels existed.
He burst out laughing looking at us and the two of us gave him our best poker face. He smirked again.
"I'm sort of happy."I said putting my phone back into my bag.
"Why?" Sebastian asked.
"Of course. I made two weirdoes as my friends." I laughed.
They looked at each other and smiled back at me. "You are no less. Weirdo!" Ahmed said leaning to ruffle my hair.
What's with people playing with my hair?
"Alright class! Answer your attendance."
Oh we didn't even notice the professor coming in. I took my note out and my pouch full of pens, pencil, eraser and a cute sharpener.
Ahmed snatched the pouch away from me.
"Hey that's mine." I pouted.
"God Haaniyah. Who brings a pouch to college with so many pens? Why do you need so many pens.?" Sebastian asked chuckling.
"Dude. You missed out the pencil, ruler, eraser..."Ahmed said bursting into laughter.
"And a cute little sharpener too." I exclaimed.
