Abby and I ran towards the mech, as explosions and gunshots echoed around us. Trying to overwhelm it.
"You and me Abby!" I called out
"Right!" Abby shouted
The mech was severely damaged by the swarm of rockets and high impact bullets, Abby and I only needed to deal the final blow. Abby made multiple cuts into the alloy, the mech's body was like butter.
"Finish this Rick!!" Abby screamed
I flew past her, screaming as I dealt punch after punch.
"Go down dammit!!" I screamed
I spun around and threw my leg into the mech, it let out a groan before falling to the ground. I heard cheers from the group as I began walking back.
"That was amazing Dash!" Mia cheered
"As impressive as ever" Mercedees stated
I looked over to Abby, she was brushing herself off before she noticed my stare. I held out my hand.
"That was a damn good fight" I exclaimed
She smiled and nodded she accepted my hand and we shook on it. We then heard a scream, I shot my glance over and saw some people laying under some rubble. I then realized what they were screaming for, the mech was slowly starting to get up. My jaw dropped, even after all that...
"N...no way" Abby gasped
I looked over at Abby and her hand was shaking, I knew what she wanted to do. I wanted to tell her not to but I couldn't speak...I was scared. The mech turned around and made its way over to the trapped people.
"n...no...I...I can't..." Abby mumbled
The mech lifted up its massive foot, ready to attack. The trapped people screamed in response, I looked over to Abby, but...
"No!!" Abby screamed
Abby ran towards the mech's backside, a sword created. Dammit! Why couldn't that massive tin can stay down!
"Abby!" I shouted, chasing after her
"Come on!!" Mia cried, running after me
I saw Abby jump up to the mech's inner thigh and start to slash at it, the mech turned around and kicked Abby up into the air, Abby let out a cry only for it to be interrupted by the mech punching her away. She flew back and stumbled around on the ground, son of a bitch! The mech was ready to attack her again, I need to save her. I'm not letting it happen again! I kicked into a higher gear and launched myself off the ground with immense speeds, I threw my left leg into the mech's forearm, sending it off course. It slammed into the ground a few inches away from her.
"Save the injured, I'll keep it busy!!" I shouted
Abby hesitated before nodding, running around the mech. The mech watched Abby run passed it, with Mia in tow. It was about to attack again.
"Oh no, you don't!!" I screamed
Using all my strength and new power, I launched myself into the air and grabbed a few loose pipes on the mech, I managed to lift it up into the air, over my shoulder, and slam it into the ground. The entire ground broke around the impact and buildings came crashing down. I flipped and landed back on the ground, waiting for the mech to get up. I lifted my arms up, ready to fight.
"Ah!" I groaned
Shit! I managed to sprain my left shoulder, I did just lift a 500-ton mech over my shoulder, so I shouldn't be surprised. The mech got up and spun around, it was going a lot faster than before, if one of the Fan's were in there controlling it, she must have been getting pretty pissed.
"Come on!" I growled
The mech ran towards me, and I charged towards it. It threw it's fist down and I jumped unto it, running up its forearm I reached its cockpit.
"Rrrraggghhh!!" I cried
I pressed off with my foot and threw a direct punch into its metal alloy, I jumped off of the mech and fell back to the ground. Once I landed I punched it's kneecap and threw my leg into the other. They buckled a bit before I jumped back. Damn! This is going to take forever. The mech's foot came bearing down on me, I pressed against its foot trying to keep it at bay. I felt the ground crumble under me as our raw strength was ripping through the entire district. It kept pushing me deeper and deeper into the ground.
"Get out of there!!" Abby screamed
"Dash!!" Mia cried
I pushed the mech's leg to the side and jumped back into time because I felt it's arm graze my back as it slammed into the ground, I flipped around and slid a few feet away from the blast. The only way I had any chance of beating this thing is if I use it, but then...If I didn't... they'll die, but what if I...
"Jessica..." I blurted
I saw the mech's arm shoot towards me, so I pulled out my sword to block it. The mech's arm and my sword grazed past each other, making a loud metal grinding noise. The sheer force of the mech's arm left me motionless for a while, but I shook my head to pull myself to reality. Dammit Dash, just use it already!
"Abby, Mia listen! I need about 5 to 10 seconds, keep it off me!!" I shouted
"O...okay" Abby said
They rushed for the mech as I reached into my pocket, pulling out the last potion. The last time I used this I lost control of myself, I'm worried if I use it again. I might not be able to contain the power.
"Okay, I'm ready!!" I cried
They started to run away as I went for the mech, here I go...
"Ahhhhhhh!!!" I screamed
I squeezed the glass bottle in my hand and it broke, I felt the surge of power go through me one more. The mech turned around as my fist met with the cockpit, it reeled back and fell to the ground. This was...fun, I thought I might actually win this thing.
"You're dead" I said
I jumped into the air and threw my leg into the mech, it went straight through the hull. I wanted...to be sure it was going down. I punched and punched, I started laughing as I saw my arms tear through the massive beast. The mech's arm came up and punched me, I heard my nose crack, this was enough
"...faster" I mumbled
I continued punching, the mech finally jumped up faster than I could react and threw its leg into my jaw, I didn't budge.
"F...faster! Ha...ha ha ha!!" I shouted, starting to laugh.
I jumped into the air and threw my leg into the mech, it stumbled back.
"Rrraagghhh!!" I screamed
I threw my arm into the mech and sent it flying across the street. It slammed through buildings, cars, and rubble before hitting a wall, exploding.
"H...ha...ha haha! That was fun!" I cheered
"Rick...are...you okay?" Abby asked, resting her hand on my shoulder
"Mhm I'm fine I just...enjoyed tearing through that massive mech. It was exhilarating!" I laughed
