Chapter Eleven : Development

Abby looked upset, why was she? We defeated the mech, I had lots of fun doing it.

"Alright, let's look at that mech, It might have something that can lead us in the right place" Mercedees said

The sound of slow clapping came from behind us, we turned around and saw that it was...

"Fan" I growled

"My My sweetie, You are just so...hot~" Fan moaned

"Were you just sitting there watching as I tore your mech about limb from limb!" I laughed

Something was rising in my chest, I was worried about what it was, so I tried to keep it in, but...this feeling.

"No, I just came to collect the dead me is all, but since I found you here tearing her apart. I thought I might come and say hi" Fan giggled

"Dash...what do we do?" Mia whispered

I started to laugh, I laughed and laughed and laughed. This was going to be fun!

"Hahahahaha! We kill her here!!" I laughed

I ran to her, throwing my leg into her. Her hip gave way and she flew into some rubble. The second she hit the rubble I ran over to her again, I started to laugh again. I...I needed to stop...we needed to retreat...w...we weren't ready to fight her. She needed to die though! It's going to be fun right?

"Well this is new" Fan said, whipping her lip

She threw her leg towards me, so I ducked under it and didn't stop. I followed it by knocking her in the jaw. I grabbed the collar of her jacket, grabbed her arm and threw her into the wall next to me.

"Heh heh heh ehe ehe ehe" I laughed

I shot my leg out but she caught it.

"Ah ha ha ha ha ha!!" I laughed

I spun around and kicked Fan at my peak, I landed and spun around again, punching her stomach. She flew through the building, this was fun!! I loved it!! This feeling!!

"R...rick?" Abby asked

She watched as Rick was fighting Fan, he would laugh here and there and each time he did, it sent chills down her spine. It was as if he was a completely different person.

"I've never seen Dash get this worked up, should we help him?" Mercedees asked

"No, I went through what he's going through." Mia replied

They watch Dash as he swung his leg around and hit Fan in the abdomen. He didn't give Fan enough breathing room, he was going a lot faster than before.

"He's filled with grief, he may sound like he's okay, but he's hurting. Badly. The Jason guy and Jessica is probably flooding his thoughts, and what he broke in his hand probably has something to do with it as well." Mia said

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Dash screamed

Abby started to cry, Rick was scaring her. Those sounded like the screams of a madman, it reminded her of him and it scared her. She didn't want to be used again

"Abby it's okay, we...we can reach him after he's worked it out of his system" Mercedees said

Abby nodded as she noticed the battle get closer to them.

I threw my leg into Fan once again, I felt like she was mocking me! She didn't even hit me once, kind of a buzzkill. I punched her again, but she kept dodging! I was getting mad, but I started to laugh, it's just what I needed!

"He he Ha ha Ha!" I laughed

She was just where I wanted her! I ran towards her.

"It's time...for me...to end you! Monster..."

I got closer to her, it was exhilarating, the thought of her dying at my hands.

"Demon!"

Yes...Yes!! Die! Die! Ha ha ha ha!

"Fan!!"

That's when my hand and forearm felt the warm sensation of blood, finally...I killed her! But...

"Heh...heh"

This wasn't Fan, my vision started to clear.

"H...ah..."

Long blonde hair...fading blue...eyes. My voice just crumbled on it's way out...my hand went up to my mouth, and a pang of tremendous guilt hit me in the chest. Abby stared back at me, eyes wide with a hole in her chest, Fan was standing behind her. Abby fell into me and let out a groan, she was in pain. I held her in my arms as tightly as I could without hurting her, she looked up at me...all she did was smile before her eyes lost all life in them. I...I killed her...I killed the one I loved. It was my fault!
