I asked Fisher to take a syringe full of my blood, a big one. He said he would need some time to make the syringe. It was just a hunch I had, so I didn't really need it anytime soon. After being told this, I left him to work on it.
"What the?" I mumbled
Everyone was gathered around a table in the center of the room, I walked over there to see what everyone was doing.
"What's Up!" I called out
"Hey Dash, we just got word from the SPIB that they located one of the Fan's. There in the downtown district, we are just trying to figure out how to get through the checkpoint into the district." Mercedees said
"Could I help?" I asked
"Well obviously, we need your expertise!" Mercedees cried
"R...right sorry" I mumbled
I stood by the group and looked at the map that was placed on the table, Mercedees began explaining the plan.
"Okay, so I go in through here to disable their communications, in case the plan goes south." Mercedees said
"And what will that help with?" Abby asked
"In case everything goes to shit, they won't be able to call for backup" Mercedees stated
"Got it" Abby acknowledged
"Anyway, Dash and Mia. Once I give the signal, the enemy will be distracted. Use this to your advantage and strike, Jessica..." Mercedees said but then stop at the end mid-sentence.
Silence fell over the group, and I felt a lump rise in my throat.
"Damnit...s...sorry. Macy, you'll provide covering fire from above if needed, Abby, you'll put that new gadget to the test." Mercedees continued
"Gadget?" I asked
Abby smiled and held up some sort of cube.
"I'm not really sure on how it works, but Fisher said that he tried to recreate my power as much as possible. Since I lost it from being in a comma, I thought I would be useless to the group, but now I'm ready to fight again!" Abby cheered
"That's good" I said
"Alright, does everyone know what they're doing?" Mercedees asked
Everyone cheered, which gave Mercedees the go ahead.
"We'll begin moving then, the checkpoint isn't that far from here. It's a miracle that they haven't managed to look here" Mercedees stated
The group and I began walking out of the building, ready to strike the enemy.
"Dash wait a minute!" Fisher called
I turned around
"What is it!" I shouted
"I got something for you!"
I turned back to the group.
"Go on without me, I'll catch up in a bit" I said
"Alright." Mia responded
They went ahead of me while I stayed behind, I made my way over to Fisher. He held out a sword.
"What's this?" I asked, taking the sword
"I've noticed that you have a sword on your back, so I decided to make you one from our world. Just to help you from not...you know...being erased and all" Fisher said
I took out the sword I had from my sheath and slid the new one in.
"Thanks, Fisher, I don't know what to do with this one, so I'll set it...here" I said, sitting the sword against the wall.
"Alright, now go catch up with the group. I'm sure they're almost there." Fisher said
I nodded and ran out of the room, It didn't take long for me to catch up.
"That was fast" Abby said
"Did you already forgot what my power was?" I said, sounding shocked
"N...no! I didn't!" Abby cried
"I'm just messing with you!" I laughed
"Guys quiet! We're here" Mercedees stated
