We made it back to our base in around 20 minutes, everyone was worried when we got back. I found out that we were gone for about an hour.
"Guys! Where were you?!" Mercedees shouted
I looked down, too embarrassed to explain.
"We..."
"We just went on a walk is all"
Mia cut me off before I had the chance to speak, thanks, Mia.
"Really?"
"Yep!"
I walked in front of Mia, I was ready to start
"We need to think of a plan, Mercedees. A plan to hit Fan where it hurts" I stated
"Dash?"
"Yeah?"
"I...you..."
"I know, I'm now starting to think logically again"
Mercedees was shocked, ever since I came back. I had never negotiated a plan with her. It was about time I change so I can be the hero I always wanted to be.
"Well Dash, what did you have in mind?"
"With how things happened last time, is there a place where Fan's men might be cooped up, or an HQ? Cause if there was a high-security prison that you guys broke into to get me out, there has to be something like that"
Mercedees thought for a moment
"I haven't seen anything nearby...but I could get some scouts on it"
"That would be appreciated"
Mercedees walked over to the scouts to tell them our plan, Mia had a long day so she went to her room. I was left with nothing but my thoughts.
"Abby..." I mumbled
I need you to give me the strength to push through, I don't want your death to be in vain. My arm jerked similar to what happened to me back in the prison, I looked down to my hand and see it jerk in places I didn't think was possible, before it went in and out of being transparent. I let out a long sigh, before smiling a bit.
"I'm running out of time"
