Chapter Sixteen : Hell

I heard explosions and gunfire from outside, what the hell was going on?! Was it training? I heard loud footsteps followed by a door opening.

"Fan has ordered your moving! We need to leave now!" The guard cried

He looked scared, was someone trying to bust me out? Why? I had no time left...there wasn't any point. I might as well play their game I guess. The guard was stupid enough to unhook one of the chains, so taking the opportunity I wrapped my arm around his throat and broke his neck. It made an audible snap, that felt...oddly satisfying. With one hand free, I took the key off his corpse and unlocked my second restraint. I fell to the ground, my legs felt weak, but after a while, I managed to get up. I need to get out of here, for her. I walked through the dark hallway and made my way to the outside, it was cloudy and dark and I saw bloodshed and destruction everywhere. I looked ahead of me and saw bright cyan hair.

"That bitch!" I cried

I ran over to her, grabbed her by the throat and threw her into a wall.

"There you are!!" I cried

"Well look who decided to break out it's Dash"

Wait...no Pookie? No "oh I need you inside me" kind of talk?

"Who are you?!" I demanded

"Well judging by your face, you already know that I'm not your Fan"

"My Fan or not you're still with her"

I squeezed my hand together and snapped her neck, there were four of them right? So this was the second one that was dead, with the mech one being the first.

"There he is!"

"Shit!"

I turned around and ran towards them, I threw my leg out and sent him flying off the overpass. I then went over to the other guy and threw my left arm down onto him, it made contact but I wailed in pain. I forgot that I sprained my arm during the fight with the mech, even with my speed they all tackled me. They were incredibly strong, even with my boosts I couldn't get free.

"Damnit!" I growled, struggling

"The boss has something she would like to show you"

They pulled me up and carried me away.

"Dash!!"

A girl's voice shouted my name, I looked around to see where it came from. I then saw a familiar face, and I almost broke down.

"Mia?!"

"Dash!!"

"What are you doing here! It's dangerous!"

"You and you, go after her!"

I was rushed into the building, I hear Mia shout something about Mercedees but I didn't hear the rest.

They threw me into a cell and managed to shut the door. Before I charged them.

"You ain't getting past that"

"Mia and my friends will save me you bastard!!"

"Do you have him"

That was Fan, walking around the corner.

"Yeah, he isn't moving anywhere"

"Good that means I can show him this"

She throws a lifeless body down on the ground, the hair was all I needed to see to know who it was. Short and brown, I felt tears come back. Why...why did it have to be me that went through the pain of losing my friends. My mouth opened without my control as I shouted

"Mercedees!!!" I cried

She didn't respond, all she did was lay there. The air was silent, as my knees buckled I fell to the ground.

"Well his friends are persistent I'll give them that!"

Her hands started to shake.

"But he's mine dammit!! They may have a good army, but he's mine!!"

My sadness was replaced with fear, the room started to glow red.

"RRRAAGGGHHHH!!!" I screamed

I kicked the door down, which it flew back and cut the guard cleanly in half. That's when I started to run to Fan.

"You're dead bitch!!" I screamed

I pulled my arm back to punch, but then I felt an indescribable pain. I fell to the ground clutching my right arm.

"No!! I...I can't feel pain...I'm strong...stronger than everyone!!" I cried

My body jerked in painful directions, in quick succession.

"Aw...what's wrong sweety. Don't have the "time" to attack me?~"

I strained as I tried to get up, it then happened again.

"A...person of my ability..." I groaned

"I know you have a big ego to feed, but it's starting to get annoying"

She giggled a bit.

"I have something that needs feeding~ I think you can help me" Fan moaned

"Gotcha!!"

A different voice came from the room. I looked up and saw someone tackle Fan to the ground, I couldn't see who it was from all the rolling around.

"You bitch!!" Fan screamed

She took out a knife and jabbed the attacker, the person hit it away but it managed to cut her cheek, it was a pretty deep cut. The person grabbed a nearby rock and started bashing Fan's face with it. Fan then gave up and backed away.

"Don't worry Dash, I got you"

The person lifted me up and placed my arm over her shoulder, she then started to drag me out of the building. I then saw her face.

"M...Mercedees?" I mumbled

"Yep!"

"But...you are...I saw..."

"It was a decoy"

"Fisher huh?" I asked

"You know it!"

I'm glad Fisher doesn't have a grudge against me, after all, I did to him. Mercedees pulled out her phone and dialed a number.

"I got him, we can begin moving out. We've lost enough people already"
