Two weeks have passed and nothing has come up from the scout team, and to make matters worse my condition isn't getting better. I felt that we would never find what we were looking for, but as if a miracle heard my complaining.

"Dash! We found something!"

I got up and ran over to Mercedees.

"What is it?!"

She pulled out a tablet.

"Our scouts found an outpost 2 miles from here. We seem ready, so I think we'll attack later today"

"That's great!"

"Tell everyone that where leaving"

I looked around.

"Wait...we only have two people, we don't stand a chance"

"Don't worry, the SPIB is on there way with weapons and vehicles"

"Alright, I'll tell the others"

I made my way over to Fisher's lab, which was on the east side of the building.

"Hey Fisher, Mercedees told me that the SPIB are on their way, you better start getting ready"

Fisher looked up at me, before looking back down

"Yeah about that..."

I looked at him, waiting for him to answer

"I'm afraid I can't come with you guys"

I was shocked.

"But why! You've been with us from the very beginning...why leave now!"

"It's because of you Dash!!"

I was taken back, why was it my fault?

"I thought my condition would get better, but it only got worse!"

W...what condition? What did I do?

"When you lashed out on me, I noticed I had started getting symptoms of a concussion and Traumatic brain injury. I can barely see what's in front of me and I'm constantly dizzy all the time.

I had lashed out at Fisher over my PTSD attack from when I got back from fighting Fan, it was due to my fake arm falling off, but I thought it was my actual arm. That was why I attacked, I didn't know I had injured him that much.

"I'm sorry Fisher!!"

"I don't hate you Dash, it's just that I don't want to be a burden to the group"

"But! You...Your..."

"I've already made up my mind, once the director gets here I'll see myself out"

I slumped over and began to walk off

"Alright, guess I'll get tell Mia now"

I walked a far distance away from his room before he called out to me

"Dash!"

I turned around to face him

"It was...an honor to work with you...Rick"

My heart sank as I felt tears come to my eyes, that wasn't Fisher talking to the hero Dash. That was Fisher talking to his friend, the one back in school. The one that was left behind. I wiped my eyes off.

"You to, I'll see you later. We can get something to eat once this is all over!"

"I'll take you up on that"

I waved goodbye to him before the tears had the chance to come back, I made my way to Mia's room which was on the other side of the building. Her door was closed, so I thought I'd knock.

"Hey, Mia?" I asked

"D...Dash?"

"Yeah it's me...can I come in?"

"Yes! Please come in!"

I opened the door and sat on the edge of Mia's bed.

"You need to get ready, the SPIB are on there way. We are gonna attack the last Fan's outpost"

"Oh...okay"

"I got to get ready to, I'll see you out there"

Mia nodded, so I took that as my chance to leave. I made it to my room, and went to the closet...it was about time I got out of these blood-soaked clothes. I pulled out a yellow shirt, black trench coat, and I left on the pants I had on. Before I closed the doors, I saw a green scarf hanging in there. I decided to throw that on to, just to respect Abby.

"Dash!! They're here!!" I heard Mercedees call out

This was it...it's now or never
