THE CUTE BOYFRIEND

Bunnykook looked at you with doe eyes. You were smiling as you ran along the beach in a bikini, him following closely behind you. Being with Jungkook makes you so happy.

You giggled as he finally caught up to you and toppled you onto the beach sand. He eyes lit up with a mischievous glint and your eyes widened.
"no you wouldn't ", you said.
"yes, I would", he replied.

Your cheeks flamed red and your laughter filled the place as he began to tickle you.
"J-jungkook...p-pwease I can't take it any longer"
"promise you'll pick up as soon as I call you"
You giggled again"I promise", and then frowned when some grains of sand found their way into your mouth.

He looked at your expression and began to laugh as you spat out the sand.

Bunnykook was your best friend. You both come from Busan and your parents were the best of friends. So this was a case of a parents friendship transcending to their kids.

But you felt more than friendship with Jungkook. He was a caring, adorable, sweet and charming guy. He would stick close all the time to you so you wouldn't get bullied in 6th grade. He'd help with Math in 8th grade since you kept failing.

You remember going skinny dipping with him in 7th grade then you'd both snuck out of class in 12th grade.

Bunnykook had even been with you when you finally got your braces removed. With Jungkook you felt more.
Sadly, he could never see you beyond the braces, freckles and pigtails.
Even though your freckles has faded over the years, you no longer wore braces and always wear your hair in a ponytail, he still calls you "Pigles".

It was a name he'd given you back in 3rd grade obviously because you wore pigtails every single day.

You smiled as you remembered "myself and my family day", what he had said back in 5th grade.
He'd stood in front of the whole class and said he'd marry you in future and have 5 kids with you. Everyone had laughed back then but you'd looked at him and had his serene smile plastered into your brain.

"hey"
You turned around to see Jungkook looking at you with concern
"why so serious"
You laughed lightly and tapped his arms.
Jungkook had become muscular over the years and he looked so handsome in his new double layered hoops.

The earrings brought back another ton of memories like the first time he'd had his ears pierced. You laughed and caught him staring at you in curiosity. You decided to tease him a little.
"hey Kook do you remember the day you got your first ear piercings? "

He looked at you with a don't you dare expression but you went ahead anyway.

"your first 2 piercings, I remember as we steeped into the tattoo shop and you were all confident that it was just a prick"

Jungkook bit his lip as his face began to flush red.

"you'd gotten on the seat and then the dude pulled out his needle because he thought you wanted a tatoo"

Jungkook rolled his eyes at you as he finished your little story "I... Know.... I fainted on the spot and when I woke up, I already had two piercings "

You cracked up with laughter and only held it in when he threatened to tickle you.
Then you two looked at each other as he held in his laughter.
"you know,..... I haven't forgotten how you burnt off one of your pigtails with a hot iron back in 8th grade"

You glared at him "don't embarrass me, I don't want to remember "and then covered your eyes. Peeking through a finger, you saw his amused expression, his cheeks puffy as he tried to desperately to hide his laughter.

He looked so funny and you couldn't help but burst in laughter. He joined you and you both laughed at that ridiculous incident.

A comfortable silence then followed as you sat on the sand and watched the waves that crashed against the shore. You felt him touch your hand and you looked down smiling as you saw your hand entwined with his.

Bunnykkok always made you feel safe.
He smiled back at you and everything felt right in that moment, nothing could go wrong. It was all perfect.

The sun was beginning to St and it cast a beautiful orange glow across the sky. The water shimmered in its glow and you stared at it taking pictures with your eyes and embedding them within your memories.

Jungkook turned to you as he looked into your eyes. "three questions : answer at the count of 3, together.

You nodded as you looked at your still entwined hands.
"winter or summer? " 1..2..3.
"summer" "summer"

You bit back as a smile
"mountains or ocean" 1..2..3.
"ocean" "ocean"

Your cheeks flamed and you giggled as he licked his lips.
" oranges or apples" 1..2..3
"oranges" "oranges"

Jungkook looked into your eyes and pecked you on the cheeks watching as you blushed harder.

"what was that all about? ", you managed to ask.
"nothing.... I just wanted you to realize how perfect we are for each other"

Your eyes widened and you hit him hard on the shoulder.
"ah... It hurts" , he said as he toppled over face etched in pain.

Afraid that, you might have really hurt him, you peered from behind him with a worried expression.
Then you suddenly pushed him, his face falling into the sand when you realized he was just messing with you.

"so you care about me", he said as he brushed the sand from his face and hair.
"of course I do, your my Bunnykook "

His eyebrow rose and you quickly stood up. You didn't want him to suspect the feelings you tried so hard to hide and you had a feeling he'd see right through your eyes.

You headed for the shore and watched as the water lapped at your feet. You saw a shiny red object in the water and bent to pick it up.

In a second, you screamed in pain as you held your finger. Jungkook rushed to your side and took a look at your hand.

Clasping it was a giant red crab 🦀.
He cracked up in laughter as he helped you rid your finger of the crab.
He grabbed the crab by the pincers and asked you to bring the food chest.

Taking out, the last two beer bottles, you filled it with water and he dumped the crab inside.

"I love you", he whispered to you.
Your head jerked up to see his sincere eyes and for some reason you thought he was just joking.

Afterall, Bunnykkok liked stretching your emotions.

He smiled excitedly as he shouted " you just found one of the rare Gecarcoidea natalis"
"OK looks, I don't speak alien language "
"in other words, you found a rare Christmas Island red crab"

You smiled as he grabbed you and began to kiss you all over your face whispering "I love yous"
"you don't love me because I found you a rare crab right? ", you asked slightly doubtful.

"I've always loved you, will you be my girlfriend? "

You blinked, tears of happiness stinging your eyes as you looked at your Bunnykkok.

Your hand found your mouth as you whispered a muffled yes. His lips softly touched yours and you smiled so wide, you thought your cheeks would explode like gunpowder.

Somehow, you felt like a 5th grader all over again as you looked into his eyes, his promise of 5 kids rushing back into your mind.
