We headed back to the apartment and Akechi helped me unpack my things. Afterwards, we got ready for bed. In the morning, we both got ready and headed over towards Leblanc. We were going to tell the others the good news. Akira had gotten them all together and they were waiting for us. We walked in, they all greeted as us we sat down.

"How was Miami?" Ann asked.

"Hot," I said.

"It was?"

"The humidity made it seem hotter," Akechi said. "We actually came here to tell you guys something."

"What's the matter?" Makoto asked.

"Is everything ok?" Haru asked.

"We're having a baby," I said.

They all had huge smiles on their face. Makoto, who was sitting next to me, hugged me tightly.

"Congrats, Y/N!" she said.

"So wonderful to hear," Ann said.

"Congrats you two," Haru said.

"I bet the baby will beautiful like you, Y/N," Yusuke said.

"Aww! I want to see 'em when they're born," Ryuji said.

I smiled, "I'll keep all of you informed when the baby has arrived."

We spent a couple of hours talking and we headed back to Shibuya. Before we headed to the apartment, Akechi took me somewhere.

"Where are we going, Akechi?" I asked.

"I never showed you this before. I thought it was time to," he said.

We walked towards a graveyard. He led me past a few headstones and then he stopped at one. I looked at the headstone and saw it was my father's. A few tears slipped down my face as I looked at it.

"I should of shown you it a long time ago. I'm sorry, Y/N."

"Don't be, Akechi. It's fine that you showed it to me later than never."

I knelt down on the ground and sighed, "Hi, dad. I'm sorry I wasn't there to see you before you passed. I know how you wanted to watch me grow up and see your little cherry blossom bloom. I understand the reason as to why you left. You wanted to keep us safe from the government. I know how you wanted to walk me down the aisle for my wedding and become a grandfather. Well, I'm happy to let you know that Akechi and I are happily married and we're going to be having a baby. I will tell our child all about you while they're growing up." I got up, bowed, and turned to Akechi. He gave me a sad smile and wiped my tears away.

He grabbed my hand and we walked back to the apartment together. About twenty weeks has passed in my pregnancy. Akechi is doing his best to help me out. He is trying to get used to my mood swings and my cravings, which have not been the best. He's helped me whenever I feel sick and has been there for me.

"I can't thank you enough, Akechi," I said.

"You don't have to," he said.

I was standing at the counter, flipping through a magazine. "But you've done a lot for me during the past twenty weeks."

"You've helped me when I needed you."

"I know, but you've just been there for everything."

He smiled, got up, and walked behind me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder. "You've been there for me. Now, I'll be there for you."

I smiled and his hands slipped underneath my shirt and rubbed my stomach.

"Soon, we're going to have a child."

"Are you ready?"

"I'll try my best to be a father."

My eyes ripped open and I jolted upwards. Sweat dripped from my forehead to my hand. I took in a deep breath and got up. I walked over to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face. I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror.

"Another nightmare?"

I turned around and saw Y/N was standing behind me. She was due any day and I have been getting nightmares about me not being a great father. Because of that, she left me and took the baby with her.

"Y-yeah," I said.

"Same one?"

I slowly nodded my head, trying to hold back tears. She walked over to me and rested her hand on my shoulder.

"You're going to be ok, Akechi. I'm sure Asumi will love you."

"I hope she does," I said.

She kissed my cheek and walked back towards the bed. But she fell to the ground.

"Y/N?!" I rushed over to her. She was holding her stomach. That only meant one thing. I helped her up and we made our way to the kitchen. She sat down at the couch and I grabbed the keys.

"I'll be right back," I said and kissed her forehead.

I rushed out of the room and down towards the garage. I started the car and drove out towards the front. I ran back in and to the apartment. I came back into the room and helped her up. We made our way downstairs and I got her into the car. I got in the front and I drove off towards the hospital. I had her hand in mine the entire way there. I could tell she was in a lot of pain just by how hard she was squeezing my hand. We made it to the hospital and I helped her in. A nurse came to us, talked to me for about a minute, and rushed to get a doctor. They took her into a room and waited until her water broke. I was sitting beside her for the entire night.

"Akechi," she said.

"Yes?"

"It hurts," she said, trying not to cry.

I kissed her forehead and took her hand, "You're strong. I know you are."

She smiled and rested her head on the pillow. I rubbed my thumb along her hand until it was time. The doctors and nurses came in and were getting ready.

"I'm scared, Akechi."

"I'm right here beside you, Y/N. I'm not going to leave you. I'll be right here holding your hand. Ok?" She nodded and I pecked her lips, "I love you."

"I love you too, Akechi."
