~6 years later~

I opened my eyes to see blinding lights. Tears streamed down from the corner of my eyes as they burned from the light. I lifted my head up to have a huge pain running up and down my back. I laid my head back down and looked around. There was a window to my left and a wall to my right. I looked forward and saw there was someone sitting there. My vision was a bit blurred from the tears. I lifted up my arm to wipe them away, but I was unable to. I was confused. Where was I? After the tears cleared up and my vision was starting to come back, I looked down at my hands. There was a bandage wrapped around my right arm. My left arm was completely gone. I panicked and the person who was sitting in front of me rushed over to me.

"What the hell happened?" I yelled.

I looked up to see it was Akira. He had a worried look on his face. I laid back and more tears streamed down my face.

"What the hell happened?" I asked, trying not to sob.

"There is a lot that happened."

"Where's Akechi? Where's Akihiko and Asumi?"

Akira looked down at the ground, "Akihiko and Asumi are alright. Akechi, h-he's-"

"He's what?"

Akira didn't say anything.

"He's what? Tell me, Akira," I said.

He didn't say anything.

"Tell me now!" I yelled.

"He's in critical condition!"

"H-how?"

"Get some rest, Y/N."

"How? Tell me how all of this happened!"

"You're going to start with this," he said and handed me a folder. He placed it on my lap and walked out of the room.

I couldn't even open it. I looked at my right hand and saw it was completely bandaged. I waited for a little bit until a nurse walked into the room.

"Tell me, what happened to my hand."

"Do you want to know?"

I nodded my head, "Tell me."

She walked over to me and unwrapped my arm. It was a horrific sight. From the middle of my forearm all the way to my fingertips was entirely black. I gasped and the nurse re-wrapped my arm.

"That's why I didn't want to show you. It's a gruesome sight."

"What happened?"

"There was a fire. That's all I know."

"When can I get the hell out of here?"

"In a few days."

I sighed and looked at her, "Can I see Goro Akechi?"

"You must be Mrs. Goro."

"I am."

"Your husband, is not doing too well."

"What happened?"

"From what we gathered, he suffered a lot of burns and smoke inhalation. He's in critical condition."

I sighed and nodded my head. A few days passed by and I was able to leave the hospital. I had to keep my arm wrapped for another two weeks. I walked back towards the apartment to see there was no apartment building. I looked around and saw there were people cleaning up the damage. I guess the fire took out the entire building. I walked towards my mother's house. I knocked on her door and there was no answer. I rang the doorbell and there was still no answer. I sighed and tried calling her. There was no answer. I swore to myself and headed over to the train station. I got on the train to head towards Leblanc.
