The Bet

"If it isn't the AKs!" the bartender cheered as the five came in with the whole team. "So what is it this time?"

"I lost a bet." Ana sighs as she sat down on the bar.

"Yep, and I lost with her." Morgan sat beside her friend.

"Hey, cheer up, you two." he said. "Your sulking is bad for my business."

"Right, sorry Bob." Ana shook her head.

"And good news," Bob states, "looks like you don't have to pay for drinks..."

"Its on the house?" Morgan asked hopeful.

"No," Bob chuckled, "guys are already lining up to pay for your drinks."

A man came up behind them, "First ones on me." He then gives Bob two $100 bills.

Ana knocked on the wooden bar before hopping off the stool. "I'm gonna check on them. Okay?"

"Sure and I'll wait here..." Morgan nodded.

Ana walked towards the "conference" room, chuckling as she read what was plastered on the door

Private don't come in!

In big, red, capitalized letters. "We really need to change that sign," Ana smiled as she took her seat at the head of the table, "it gives out the illusion of doing something illegal in here."

"What are we doing here, exactly?" Natasha asked.

"Um... I lost a bet and this is how we repay it..." Ana grumbled.

"Okay... how much are the drinks?" Steve asked, as he took out his wallet.

"Don't worry about it, dad." Ana leaned back against her seat. "I got this..."

"How are you planning for paying for this?" Natasha asked.

"I've got my ways..." Ana smirks.

Lila whines, "That's cheating, Ana!"

"No," Ana frowns, "tis called using innate beauty."

"Excuse me?" a man said, "Do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I walk by again?"

Ana turns to face the man, "Uh..."

"No." Steve stood up.

Morgan walked in with Bob, as soon as the man left. Morgan sat on her seat, "Hey what happened?"

"Some dude flirted with Ana, again." Lila sighs.

"Oh and by the way, Bob," Nathan asks, "do you still have the karaoke machine?"

"In the back." Bob pointed.

"Okay... awesome." Cooper went in the back to grab the machine.

Ana glanced at her parents, "Do they have to be here?"

"Not getting cold feet, are you," Nathan teased, "Ms. Rogers?"

"Noo..." Ana took a shot of tequila, "Let's get this over with then..."

Morgan raised an eyebrow, "What was the purpose of that?"

"Since it is impossible for me to get drunk I wanna try my luck." Ana smiles, as she exited the room.

While the Barton siblings are setting up the machine by the bar, one of the drunk patrons walked towards Ana. "Why the long face," he slurred, as he drunkily drapped an arm on Ana's shoulders, "Ms. Beautiful?"

Ana turns to face the man, grabs his hand, and proceeded to twist it, "I suggest you, runaway quickly, and don't look back."

Lila cleared her throat, "Excuse me, everyone; we are here to recruit people to the Avengers team... Now, without further ado... the two of our most popular team members, Ms. Anastasia Rogers and Ms. Morgan Stark!"

Ana and Morgan both grab microphones, Ana once again looked at her parents, "I am really sorry about this..." she grabs the mic with both hands, "Let's get this over with..."
