Hopeless

"You really are hopeless!" Natasha exclaimed, as Ana and Morgan walked in the room. Natasha stood up, "You honestly think you can hide that from me?" Natasha grabs Morgan's arm and drags her towards the empty waiting room, "I've also experienced hiding my pregnancy."

Ana sighs and slaps, "Well, then congratulations mother, you kept me a secret!"

"Not now, Ana!" Natasha glares at Ana.

Ana sat down without loosing eye contact with her mother, "Don't feel bad, mother." Ana crossed legs and arms, as she sat up, "She told Uncle Bruce, before me, her best friend."

"Are you serious, right now?!" Morgan spoke, finally, "This is not about you!"

Ana looks up at her friend, "I am well aware of that."

Natasha glares at Ana and then looks at Morgan, "We are at a hospital, so if you choose to…"

"How is it possible that you two say the same exact thing?!" Morgan annoyed. "I'm keeping my baby, okay?"

Morgan walked away, pissed. Natasha looks at her daughter, "You said the same thing?"

"More or less…" Ana shrugs, "but you know? I got to finish my thought."

"You?" Natasha shocked, "Actually gave her the option to do an abortion?"

"Yes, why does that shock you?"

"I just thought since your here because I opted out of abortion, you'd be anti- abortion."

"Well, it was your choice, after all." Ana smirks, "And let's be real, if you had the abortion would you have had the courage to tell dad how you felt? Would you have been happy?" Ana stood up and was about to walk away, when Natasha grabs Ana's right elbow.

"It would've eaten me alive," Natasha admitted, "the guilt. All I've ever wanted was a child. Don't ever think I regret having you."

"And now?" Ana asked, "Now, that I'm grown, you still don't regret your decision?"

"No matter how annoying you get or how rude you are, I will never regret my choice." Natasha let's go of her grip, "Ana, you are the best thing that happened to me." Ana looked at her. "Why are you acting like this?" Natasha asked.

Ana took a deep breath, "It occurred to me that…"

"Guys!" Nathan called, "Come on, Cooper is doing the big name reveal…"

"So dramatic…" Natasha sighs as she walked in the room, leaving Ana.

Ana sighs, "I really am important."
