It has been three days and Ana went back to the US with her parents.
Three days since she was seen by anyone.
Three days since her heart shattered.
Three days since she'd laugh or smile.
"Come on, Ana." Pepper tried to get the younger woman out of bed.
Ana opened her eyes and closed it, she didn't want to see anyone or anything.
"Ana, please." Natasha begged. "You can't stay cooped up in here forever."
Ana finally spoke, "I can try, can't I?"
"I realize that your hurting," Natasha sighs, "but you are stronger than this. You have to get back up…"
"Hurting?!" Ana chuckled bitterly, "Have you ever experienced your heart being turned to shreds over and over again?"
Natasha knew that she hit a nerve and went outside.
Steve looked at Natasha. "Well, according to her, she's not hurting her heart is just be shredded…" Natasha sighed.
Morgan felt sick, she knew exactly what Ana meant. "Her heart has always been broken!" Morgan gasped. "I don't know where or who but when we were in high school, she came home early, sobbing…"
"Wait! In high school?" Steve asked, "Wouldn't that be six years ago?"
"Uncle Steve, Ana doesn't give a shit." Morgan explained, "It could have happened 30 years ago, but when she breaks down it will be like everything happened in the last 15 days." Morgan stood up, "And I might just have the remedy…" she took out her phone and she made a video call with Lila, "Where are you guys?"
Lila replies, "In Manhattan. What's up?"
"Code scarlet." Morgan breathed out.
