Normal P.O.VThe train screeched to a stop, rattling both blondes awake.
"Huh? What?" Lucy sprang up, forgetting she wasn't in her warm bed. She looked around her surroundings and soon realized she was on the train, luckily at the Magnolia stop.
She noticed Laxus was still asleep, and she admired his face. She traced his scar with her eyes, her mind filling with possible scenarios in order to grant him such a unique scar.
Lucy had to admit, Laxus was an attractive man. And his deep grumbly voice added to his attractiveness.
She liked how even though he didn't show it, after the Fantasia fiasco, he started to care for his guild mates. He had come out of no where to help them defeat Master Hades, and he even defeated his father during the grand magic games in order to keep the guilds secret safe.
Lucy also admired his brute strength. This man was scarily powerful, with one lightening strike he could take down almost anyone.
His silence was very intriguing, only opening his mouth to say a few select words, making those words more meaningful even if the words themselves were insignificant or stupid.
But Lucy knew Laxus would never go for a girl like her, she wasn't too powerful and she knew she could be annoying at times, who'd want to deal with that?
What was she thinking? This was Laxus she was talking about, she knew he wasn't capable of feeling romantically towards someone, and if he did feel that way, he'd never show it.
Plus, they had been friends for a little while, and Lucy has never thought about Laxus in that light before, so why now?
She always thought he was attractive, but nothing more than that.
A loud voice boomed over the speakers, asking for any passengers who needed to be in Magnolia.
Lucy walked over to Laxus, gently shaking his shoulder to wake him up. His eyes fluttered open, and Lucy returned his action with a smile.
"Come on sleepy head, we're home." Lucy's soft voice spoke, waking Laxus up.
Lucy grabbed both of their bags, walking off the train with a slow Laxus in tow.
"I'll take those," he grabbed the bags from the girl as soon as he stepped off the train, relieving the girl from the heaviness of their items.
"Thank you," she breathed a sigh of relief, the bags pulling her down, creating a painful sensation in her back.
He grumbled as a response, starting to walk ahead of Lucy. The small girl quickly caught up, humming a small tune to entertain herself.
Even if Laxus had his earphones on, he could still hear the blondes hum, her voice was sweet and kind in his ears.
Before he knew it, they were back at the guild.
"Thanks for coming with me Laxus. We seem to make a great team," Lucy smiled at the guild doors.
"Yea we do blondie, we should take another mission sometime." Laxus smiled, ruffing up the blondes hair.
"Yea, I'd like that." Lucy smiled back, a hint of a blush making its grand appearance on her cheeks.
Laxus pushed the guild doors open, making his grand appearance.
"We're back!" Lucy says, ducking under his arm that was holding the door open.
"Luce!" Natsu and Gray simultaneously yelled, running up to the blonde and hugging her.
"You didn't get hurt, did ya?" Natsu asked, inspecting Lucy. She giggled and pushed him away.
"Nope! I'm perfectly fine. I even took out two crooks!" Lucy cheered, jumping in happiness.
"Good job Luce!" Natsu gave Lucy a high-five, congratulating Lucy on her victory.
Laxus wasn't sure why, but he was filled with an odd feeling when the boys hugged Lucy. He felt as if he was going to attack them, and he had no idea why.
He let out a low growl, and luckily no one heard or else things would not have gone over well.
"Welp, I'm going home for the night. Bye guys. Thanks for everything Laxus!" Lucy waved before the doors shut, leaving Laxus with an accomplished feeling because his name was the last thing to leave her mouth.
