Normal P.O.V

Just as the clawed hand of the monster started moving towards the frightened girl, Lucy began running.

"Princess, be careful!" Loke shouted, disappearing when she began to run, sensing what she was about to do, not wanting to drain more of her magic power.

In the middle of her sprint, her body started to turn into a brilliant golden glow.

She surged with power as she emerged from the cloud with an entirely new outfit. Lucy was now in her Taurus star dress. This was the first time her new power was being revealed to anyone besides her spirits, of course, and Natsu.

She knew that she wasn't trained well enough in these forms, but she didn't have the time to wait around and watch Evergreen get hurt.

One of her beloved friends was in danger, and she would do anything to save her. Including risking a danger to her own life, possibly her contracts with her celestial spirits.

She flung her whip at the beasts hand, now focusing its attention back on Lucy.

"Evergreen, run. Now!" Lucy yelled, pulling the beasts hand towards her. When his hand became close enough, she climbed onto his hand and started running up his arm while he started clawing at himself to attack Lucy. Loud, painful roars erupted in the city as he attacked his own arm, Lucy successfully dodging each attack.

Halfway through, she changed into her Sagittarius star dress, firing arrows towards the beasts head and chest. With each arrow fired, she felt more and more of her power leaving her body.

More painful screams filled the air from the giant beast, making Lucy smirk. He was no match against her celestial arrows.

When she reached the back of his neck she changed back into her Taurus star dress.

She summoned Taurus's axe into her hands, brining it above her head with a great scream escaping her lips as she pushed more power into the axe, amplifying it's attack.

"I'm ending this now!"

The scream was not only for her urge to defeat the monster, but for her physical pain. Her body ached and she felt dizzy as her body was draining colossal amounts of power only in minutes.

Her body wasn't used to her summoning one star dress, let alone changing dresses multiple times within a few minutes.

"I have to do this." She whispered to herself as she slammed the axe on his head, using all the might and magic her body could muster in those moments. Her attack splitting his head right through the middle, earning another loud roar, momentarily deafening Lucy.

A light purple glow filled the area, blinding Lucy. She changed into her Aries form, creating a shield of wool around her friends: who had grouped up near the beast to watch Lucy, to avoid them being hurt any further.

She screamed as the light blinded her, the brightness burning her skin almost as if it was poison.

One last great roar filled the blondes ears, making her feel as if her head was about to explode like the beast before her.

The beast and Lucy fell together, with the last of her power, Lucy built a wool cloud for her to jump onto.

As she fell, all of her magic power left her body. A trail of golden glitter followed her as she changed back into her normal clothes.

She landed with a great thud, sending another round of shockwaves through her body.

With a groan, she slid off the pink fuzz. She landed on the ground, sitting on her knees.

Her breathing picked up, and her eyes began to fill with black spots. Before she could loose her vision, she turned to the now dead beast with tears in her eyes.

"I..did it." She smiled.

The last thing she saw before falling over was Laxus running towards her.
