Normal P.O.V

"Luce!" Was all the blonde heard before she was swarmed in a hug by her best friend.

"Natsu!" She giggled, squeezing the life out of the boy as a sign of her missing him.

"How was the mission? I heard you did something big!" He smiled, jumping with excitement.

"I slayed a giant beast! And guess what? I mastered a few of my star dresses!" She squealed, Natsu giving her a high five.

"I knew you could do it Luce, I'm proud of ya." He gave her another hug, making Lucy feel proud of her actions.

Gray came up behind Natsu with a wide smile adorning his face. "Nice job, Lucy! I knew you had it in you." Gray patted her back, making Lucy feel all the more powerful knowing two of the guilds most powerful mages were congratulating her.

"Not to mention, it was an S-class beast." Laxus joined in, standing behind Lucy.

"Oh hey, sparky!" He groaned, not liking the nick-name.

"Wow Luce, that's awesome!" He praised the blonde beauty again, making her smile in joy.

"Thanks guys." She smiled a genuine smile towards all three boys.

"Lucy!" She heard the voice of her favorite exceed, Happy shout.

"Happy!" She giggled as the cat flew into her chest.

"Did you really get the beast?" He asked with wide eyes, making Lucy nod.

"I did! I even saved Laxus," she smirked, Laxus turning away with a loud grunt.

"Did you really? You had to save Laxus?" Natsu laughed, leaning on a snickering Gray for support.

"She didn't have to, she chose to." He blushed, making her nod.

"Well, I was actually saving Evergreen, Laxus was just there." She shrugged.

Laxus sat his hand on her shoulder, squeezing it a bit.

"I have to get back to my team, see you guys later." Laxus smiled before walking away, Lucy's cheeks burning.

"Did something happen Lucy? You're blushing~" Gray dang, his eyebrows doing a dance.

"Wha-what? No! This is Laxus we're talking about." She giggled, waving him off.

"Whatever you say~" he smirked again. "But on an important note, gramps gave us another special mission. We have to join the Thunder Legion, and Sabertooth."

Lucy sighed, she just came back from a big mission, and she had to go on another one?
