Normal P.O.V

"Is Evergreen okay?" Lucy asked sitting up, scanning the room for Evergreen.

The group of mages turned around and Evergreen ran to Lucy.

"I'm perfectly fine. Thank you for saving me." She said while wrapping her arms around Lucy. Lucy was shocked for a moment before she hugged back, holding Evergreen close to her.

"You're welcome." She whispered back, Evergreen pulled away with a small smile on her face.

"Lucy, I never knew you had learned such a magic as the star dress." Lucy blushed and looked away.

"Well you see, I haven't fully learned it. The only dresses I can do are the ones you saw..." she trailed off, playing with her fingers.

"It was rather impressive, I read the only the most powerful celestial mages are able to obtain it." Free continued, making Lucy smile.

"Yea, my spirits felt that I was ready, and so yea. That's how that happened. But soon I'll learn the rest of them." She shyly smiled, being proud of herself for pulling something like that off.

"It was an honor to witness such magic." He finished, Lucy's cheeks gaining a faint tint.

"Thanks, Freed." She climbed out of bed, stretching her body until her bones cracked.

"Are we ready to head back? I can't wait to tell Natsu about the mission." She perked up while thinking about her idiotic best friend.

She heard a growl, making her look in Laxus's direction.

"What's wrong, Sparky?" He shook his head, blinking a few times, almost as if he came out of a trance.

"Yea, blondie. I'm fine." He grunted, Lucy shrugging her shoulders while Evergreen was snickering.

Lucy began to walk out the door, the rest of the group following her. She hummed to herself, happy that she was able to slay the beast.

Natsu was right, with the power of your friends behind you, you really can do anything. She knew she had to protect the safety of her friends, and she could feel them cheering her on.

She was delighted that her star dresses actually worked, yes, she had practice with each of them, but she was still nervous that they would fail in her time of need.

But seeing as how they flawlessly worked, she wanted to learn the rest of the dresses.

Lucy's mind was filling with anxious thoughts as well. She hoped she had proved herself to them, but after hearing Freed's words, she believed she did.

Well, she proved herself to most of them. Laxus was who she was truly worried about. Over the last few days, he had not left her mind. Especially yesterday, she wanted nothing more than to protect him with all of her might.

Her heart soared when she saw him running to her, the worried look on his face. It proved to her that he truly cared for the blonde mage. She felt a blush come to her face, and she could practically hear her heart beating in her ears.

She wasn't going to hide it from herself anymore, she liked Laxus.
