Almost as soon as they entered the castle, they had been swept away and taken into the castles thrown room. The King could be seen sitting on a lavish golden thrown. The pair of mages bowed out of respect, but the King brushed it off.

"Oh please, after everything I consider you my friends! But on to more important matters, why I called you here. Tomorrow night, you must not let my precious daughter out of your sight! One of you must remain with her at all times, or be prepared to face the consequences." He finished with a harsh glare.

The King had spoken with so much seriousness, Lucy thought the King's words would have been enough to end her life.

"Y-yes sir, we promise we won't let you down." Lucy spoke with a shaky voice, more pressure being added onto her shoulders.

"Thank you, that is all. I will have some royal guards take you to your rooms. And Lucy, I know you and my sweet Hisui are friends, so you may visit her as you please!" The King smiled, his attitude changing completely from a few moments ago much to the relief of Lucy.

"Thank you sir!" Lucy smiled, clasping her hands together excitedly.

The guards had taken the two to their rooms, their luggage already being placed inside. Lucy ran to her bed and jumped on it. She felt as though she was laying on a cloud, the bed itself was very soft, but the sheets placed on top of the mattress gave it that extra soft touch.

Lucy had summoned Virgo, a stoic look on her face as usual.

"Punishment, Princess?" Virgo asked, a glint of hope on her eye.

"No Virgo, I would never. But, I do need your help! Do you have any gowns or anything fancy that I could borrow for tomorrow?"

Virgo had started to think before she shrugged. "I will see what I can find." The celestial being disappeared into a fog of glitter.

No more than a minute later did Virgo reappear with a golden dress. "Will this do, Princess?" Virgo asked, handing the garment over.

"Oh Virgo, it's perfect!" Lucy gushed, thankful for her pink haired spirit.

"Then I must be going. Till next time, Princess." Virgo waved, Lucy shouting her thanks once again.

"She knows me so well," Lucy giggled, putting the dress on a random chair in the room.

"I can't wait!" She smiled, pretending to dance around in her room.

Lucy could picture herself as a small child dancing with her mother, sometimes even with other children who came to her family's balls.

She often wondered where those other children ended up. Maybe they had followed her path and joined a guild, maybe they had followed family traditions and took over businesses. Who knows, she just hoped that they were happy.

She missed the elegance of the parties, but that was one of the only things she missed from her younger years.

She loved her mother, and her father but he quickly became cold after her mother's death.

He drove her to leave.

She was happy that she left however, she loves the life that she now lives.
