Normal P.O.V

"Ugh," Lucy beard a groan, looking up to the ill slayer. She softly smiled, patting his shoulder.

He knew what she meant, and immediately laid down. Lucy blushed as she ran her fingers through Laxus's hair, hearing his sighs of content.

A light blush filled his cheeks when he opened his eyes, making eye contact with her. Lucy quickly looked out the window, her cheeks becoming darker.

She heard a chuckle, making her look at the seat across from her. Evergreen had a smug smirk on her face, wiggling her eyebrows.

Lucy's face turned yet another shade of red, causing for the brunette to chuckle.

"I-I know what you're thinking, a-and the answer is no." Lucy squeaked out, making Evergreen raise an eyebrow.

"Well, your face tells a different story." She retorted, making Lucy pout. A chorus of snores sounded, showing all the boys had quickly fallen asleep.

Lucy looked down, gently petting his cheek.

"See, this is what I mean. He's never let anyone get this close, and he's stuck by your side the whole time. Yesterday, he was so worried about you, she sat on a chair all night just to make sure you were okay, he even carried you back from the mission. He even wanted you to be on the front line with him," she continued, Lucy agreeing with everything she's said so far.

"He's never been like this before. And I've known him for many years. Lucy, it was his idea to bring you on this mission. He talked all about you when you guys came back from that mission. The way he looks at you, something is there. And that's just from him!" She exclaimed, Lucy's face going back to its red hue.

"The way you've cared for him. I bet you it meant so much to him to even go on that first mission with you, you're one of the first people he's talked to since the Fantasia incident. Most can't even look him in the eye, yet you talked to him and acted as if you were friends. You've been so kind to him, there's no way you don't feel anything towards him." She smiled, knowing that she was right. She watched Lucy's reaction the whole time, the girl nodded and blushed with each statement from her mouth.

"Now that I've knocked some sense into you, I'm going to bed. Goodnight, Lucy." She whispered, leaning on the shoulder of Bickslow to sleep.

Lucy sighed, every single word that flowed from her mouth was true. She already knew how she felt towards Laxus, but her real question was how he felt about her.

The way Evergreen spoke almost made it sound as if she knew something Lucy didn't, maybe Laxus already confessed his feelings for her?

That was Lucy's only plausible reasoning as to why she even brought it up. But Lucy was smarter than that, Evergreen may have also been trying to get information out of Lucy so she could give the same lecture to Laxus. But Lucy knew Evergreen wasn't like that, she wouldn't manipulate Lucy in such ways.

Lucy's heart raced at the thought of Laxus feeling the same way, she had never had a significant other before. He would be her first, but that was something she was looking forward too.

Laxus definitely wasn't someone she ever saw herself with, but she didn't mind having the slayer as her first lover. He had really changed, she saw the goodness in his heart, even if the others didn't.

He subconsciously snuggled closer to her, making her smile. She was excited for the day she could call him hers, doing this everyday.

She leaned down, gently kissing his cheek.

After her act of love, she leaned back, falling asleep.
