Hey my pandas! How are y'all? I hope you're swell!

How is everybody's break going? I can't be more excited to go back to school. But, I ordered some paints and they'll be here in a few days! I have a few projects that I'm gonna do over the next few weeks, and they're gonna be so much fun!

Anyways, without further ado, on with the story! Enjoy :)

Normal P.O.V

"Are you here for Lucy?" A small woman walked out holding a clipboard.

When the girls name was announced, Laxus stood up and marched to the woman. He had not left the waiting room once since she was admitted, and that lead the lady to believe that he was with the celestial wizard.

"I'll take that as a yes. But, Lucy will be fine, she just needs to rest." The lady smiled before turning to walk away. "Come with me if you want to see her."

Laxus rushed behind the old woman, not even wondering what her name is. All he was wondering was if Lucy was okay or not.

When they entered the room, Lucy was curled up facing the opposing wall, her back facing them. He slowly walked to the girl and rubbed his hand along her arm.

"She's going to be asleep for a while, don't worry if she doesn't wake up any time soon. We estimate a few hours." The woman shrugged, walking towards Laxus and doing a quick look over. 

Erza walked in as the doctor left, giving Laxus a soft smile. "We're all glad she's okay, she did a lot more than we realized. Loke popped in and said that he had helped her, he hadn't realized that she was hurt, otherwise he wouldn't have left. He also said that more guards had popped in after he left, but he was too weak to go back."

Erza spoke, taking her spot next to Laxus and started petting her hair. "The rest of us are going to go back to the hotel and revise our plan. After what they did to Lucy, we can't go in blindly." She sighed and frowned, looking up to Laxus before looking back down to Lucy.

"You gonna stay with her, tonight?" She gently asked, watching Lucy snore with Happy curled up beside her.

"Yea, I just want to make sure she's alright." He sighed, a small smile appearing on his face when he thought back to their mission with his team. "This is the second time in a few weeks that I've seen Lucy put herself through the ringer for a mission, she really is a senseless girl."

"Lucy really will do anything for anyone. Just don't forget that. Make sure to do the same for her, Laxus." And with that Erza gave him a gentle pat before leaving Laxus alone with Lucy.

"Gosh Lucy, why do you keep putting yourself through this?" He sighed, leaning back in the chair he got at some point.

Erza's words kept running through his head, he knew what she said wasn't just a jumble of words, he knew what she meant by them.

She told him to give Lucy everything.

He would protect Lucy, make sure that she knew that he would be there for her no matter what happened.

"Don't worry, Erza, I most definitely will." He smiled, grabbing one of her hands and rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb.
