Chapter 18: Making New Friends!

Cayla looked out at the water as they made it to Professor Sycamore's Summer Camp. She sighed, scanning the beach and People until her eyes caught something and she had to bite back a squeal. "Hey Ash, I have to check on something real quick, mind taking Ro, and Dawn to the Pokemon center for me?" She asked, grabbing his attention.

The male nodded, though raised a brow in confusion. "Sure, I don't mind."

"Thanks! Ro, Dawn out you go!" She said fastly, throwing out her Pokemon. She crouched down a bit to meet their eyes. "You two go with Ash okay? I'll have a big surprise when I get back okay?"

"Kirlia?" 'Where are you going?' Ro asked.

"Not far, I promise. You be a strong big brother?" She asked.

Ro's eyes seemed to sparkle at the statement before he nodded boldly. "Kirlia!" 'Alright!'

"I'll be back soon!" She promised before running down to the summer camp.

"While she does that, lets go talk to Professor Sycamore." Ash said, leading to group to the Professor, who was waving them down.

Ro frowned, seeing as Cayla said to go to the Pokemon Center, but she also said to follow him, so it looked like he was stuck. "Kirlia kirli." 'Come on Dawn, lets go.' He told the Eevee, sticking close by the normal type.

"Eevee!" 'Okay!' Dawn cooed, matching his pace under Ro's watchful eye.

Now that he thought about it, he was a big brother to Dawn. It filled him with joy to think about it. Seeing as Cayla had found him as a shy Raltz, he had always been the baby, but with Dawn, he was the big brother now. However, Dawn was an angel, so he didn't have to do much, other than hide her when Ash or Clemont got too close.

The duo followed Ash around as he went from the Professor, to the beach where Ash watched a hefty boy battle with a Squirtle. The moves were fast, almost dance like as he dodged move after move. After the battle, Ash wanted to battle, but not on Ro's watch.

Light blue wrapped around him, lifting him about a foot off the ground, before dropping him in the sand. "Ow! Ro what was that for?"

"Kirlia Kirlia Kirli Lia Kirlia!" 'Cayla told you to take us to the Pokemon Center!' He huffed, narrowing his eyes at the trainer.

Ash's brows furrowed. "Ro, I'm not like Cayla, I don't understand what you're saying."

Before Ro could finish scolding the black haired trainer, a girl ran over, squealing and talking to Serena. Ro huffed angrily. "Kirlia Kirlia Lia!" 'Fine, I'll take us.' He sighed, picking Dawn up gently with Psychic, seeing as she was petrified from the unknown trainers.

"Wait Ash, Cayla did say to take them to the Pokemon Center, maybe that's what he wants." Clemont spoke fastly as the Pokemon walked away.

"Hold on, those are Cayla's Pokemon?" The girl trainer asked in awe. "She's getting out their too! Come on! I'll show you!"

"Alright." Ash sighed at his lack of battle, but went along.

Cayla hummed a light tune as she walked up to the Pokemon Center. Her smile was even bigger, pink lips stretched with such happiness it was almost angelic. As she stepped on last stair she noticed three things; One was that the group had gotten bigger by three, Two was that the Kanto starters were around, and the Third, was a stranger had a camera shoved in her Pokemon's face as she tried to hide behind the other, who looked ready to Magical Leaf the person out of the Pokemon Center.

"Dawn, come here." Cayla said softly, causing her to run and jump into her outstretched arms.

"Eevee Eevee Eevee!" 'Scared Scared Scared!' Dawn whimpered, snuggling into her chest.

"You shouldn't put a camera in a Pokemon's face like that. What kind of picture would it be if she were crying?" Cayla scolded the trainer, sounding like mother scolding a child. Ro perked up, moving to stand by her side.

"Sorry, I just haven't seen a Eevee colored that before!" The trainer, a short boy with bubble like red hair, said quickly.

"It's alright, just try not to it again." She sighed. "Nice to meet you, I'm Cayla."

"Oh I know, Shauna was talking about you and Serena, from Poke-Vision. I'm Trevor." He greeted.

"Wow! It is you!" A girl grinned, pushing Trevor away. "Hi! I'm Shauna! I love all of your videos!"

"Oh!" Cayla's face lit up in a shy blush. "Thank you, and it's nice to meet you." She murmured, turning to Ash to explain.

"We met them on the Beach, this one's Tierno." Ash explained.

"Hi." Tierno waved.

"Hello." She greeted before setting Dawn down, motioning for Ro to stand beside her. "Ready for your surprise?" She asked, getting a nod. "Come on out!" Cayla grinned, throwing a bright red Poke-Ball up. The ball opened with a pop and out came.....
