(Episode 28 of XY)
A bright head of flames, strong brown arms and legs, and gold accents sparkled everyone's vision as the white glow stopped. Ro was the first to react, running and jumping on the flaming Pokemon. Dawn tilted her head, slowly approaching the newcomer. "Kirliakirliakirla!"
"Who's that Pokemon?" Serena asked, pulling out her Poke-Dex.
*Infernape, the Flame Pokemon. It tosses its enemies around with agility. It uses all its limbs to fight in its own unique style.*
"No way, is that CC?" Ash asked in awe, watching as Pikachu ran up to him.
"Yup!" Cayla beamed. "It's okay Dawn, this is CC." She said softly.
Dawn took slow steps, sniffing the Pokemon's hand before rubbing against it and purring.
"Does this mean CC will be joining us?" Ash asked, petting CC's shoulder.
Cayla winced. "No, father still needs him, but he'll be with us till we leave!" She added the last part cheerfully.
"All campers meet on the beach for introductions." A announcement cut off all other statements.

After getting introduced, and meeting their cabinmates, Cayla was put in the Cindaquil cabin die to there being too many people in the Froakie cabin. After that they were told the rules, and were finally told they could battle with they others.
Cayla looked around, her grey eyes falling on a sad looking Bonnie as she cheered for Ash. "Bonnie, want to battle with me and Dawn?" She asked, watching the girl's face light up.
"Yes please!" Bonnie cheered, followed by Dedenne perking.
"You can go first." Cayla offered, throwing out Dawn once they took their places.
"Thank you! Dedenne use your uh Tackle!" She ordered.
"Dodge with Quick Attack Dawn!" Cayla said. Dedenne ran towards Dawn, but the silver Pokemon flashed, dodging the tackle.
"Thats okay Dedenne, now use er...Thunder!" Dedenne looked back, blinking at Bonnie.
"I think it was Thunder Shock Bonnie." Cayla giggled.
"Oh! Then Thunder Shock please!" The rodent sparked with electricity, sending it towards Dawn.
"Dig!" Dawn dug into the sand.
"I know!" Bonnie smiled. "Dedenne run so they can't find you!"
Dedenne took off running, darting around the sand, but they weren't fast enough. Dawn leaped out of the sand, stepping on Dedenne's tail to stop it.
"And thats the battle!" The moderator called.
Once Cayla returned her Pokemon, Bonnie tackled her in a hug. "Thank you for battling me Cayla!" She grinned.
"Anytime." The older girl smiled.
