(Takes place same day as last chapter)
Diantha smiled, Gardevoir in front of her and ready for battle, across was Ash and Pikachu ready for a battle. Professor Sycamore lead them to a clearing for the battle. The battle started with Pikachu's Iron Tail. Pikachu jumped up high, tail turning a bright metallic before slamming down towards Gardevoir. Gardevoir dodged easily, stepping back while Iron Tail was followed by quick attack. Gardevoir dodged Quick Attack, one after the other with ease. Pikachu fell out of Quick Attack, falling into Electro Ball. The bright electric ball gathered at their tail, building up before it was fired. Again, Gardevoir dodged, following up with another when Pikachu used Thunderbolt. Finally Gardevoir fired back, sending a dark purple Shadow Ball straight towards Pikachu. When Shadow Ball hit, Pikachu went flying towards a tree.
In the usual Ash fashion, he ran after Pikachu, catching the electric type in his arms while his head hit the rough bark of the tree. "That hurt, but I'm fine." He assured. "You okay buddy?"
"Pikachu!" Pikachu nodded, ears twitching.
"Then the real battle starts now!" Ash declared, jumping up with a grin.
Out of the sky fell two box shaped things. The popped open, grabbing Diantha's Gardevoir. The second fell towards Ro.
"No!" Cayla growled, pushing Ro out of the way. The same box that fell around Gardevoir encased Cayla before joining the other box. Team Rocket sped off before anyone could respond, not realizing their mistake.
"My Gardevoir!" Diantha yelled.
"Kirlia! Kirlia!" Ro screamed, not wasting a second before running off.
"Hold on! Ro you don't even know where they went!" Ash yelled, causing the Kirlia to stop and glare at him.
"Kirlia!" He yelled back, one of his hands falling on his chest. "Kirli Kirlia!"
"I-We don't know what you're saying..." Serena admitted.
Ro turned towards Diantha, pink eyes blazing. "Kirli Kirlia."
"He can feel her." Diantha realized before explaining. "Once I got lost during a movie shoot, but I kept feeling this pull in my chest, so I followed it, and I found Gardevoir. My manager explained that Gardevoir popped out of it's Poke-Ball, and led them to me. Even now, I can feel that same pull. He must feel it too."
"Kirlia!" Ro nodded before turning to go after Cayla, caring less if the others followed or not.
------
"Ugh! I wanted a Kirlia! Not a black haired twerp!" Jessie growled, stomping around.
"Were you hurt at all Gardevoir?" Cayla asked kindly, ignoring Team Rocket to check on the Pokemon. Gardevoir simply shook their head, staring out ahead. "They're coming, you can feel it too can't you?" She asked, smiling at the aloof Pokemon. Again the Pokemon nodded, though their lip quirked slightly. "I didn't get a chance to thank you yet. Thank you for saving us from that fall."
"All this sweetness is giving me a toothache!" Meowth complained.
"Yes stop ignoring us!" James yelled.
"We're your kidnappers after all!" Jessie confirmed.
"Did you hear something?" Cayla asked.
"Gardevoir." The Pokemon shook their head.
"How rude!" The trio yelled.
"Give me back my Gardevoir." Diantha ordered calmly, stepping out of the bushes.
"Kirlia Kirli Lia!" 'I want my trainer Right Now!' Ro ordered as well, stepping out beside the actress.
"Ro!" Cayla grinned, waving at her Pokemon from the box. As usual her pale lips were graced with a smile.
"No way! We stole Gardevoir fair and square!" Jessie declared.
"Gardevoir, lets show them a thing or two about a strong bond." Diantha held her hand out.
"Voir." The Pokemon nodded.
Diantha held onto her Key Stone pendant. Bright gold streamers filtered out of the Key Stone, melting into the blue streamers that twisted out of Gardevoir's Mega Stone. The streamers met, colliding together and turning a bright yellow color. "Mega Evolve!" A sparkling light took over Gardevoir's form. Gardevoir grew taller, with the spikes on their head sharpening. The long dress like bits of its body puffed up like a ball grown, while the spike on their chest morphed into to. Their lands also grew, and puffed out like gloves.
"Wow." Cayla said in awe, looking at the Mega Evolved Pokemon before her.
"I have a bad feeling about this." James sighed.
"Use Shadow Ball." Diantha said seriously.
"Ro, Use Magical Leaf when you feel its right!" Cayla yelled out, smiling when he nodded back.
A large string of Shadow Balls fired out all at once from Gadevoir. They hit the box, caking it little by little until it shattered. Cayla started falling quick towards the ground, as they were elevated. Colorful swirling leaves wrapped around her, pulling her safely towards Diantha.
Upon being set down by Magical Leafe, Ro jumped into her arms. Cayla smiled and hugged him tightly to his chest. "Lets help them out hey Ro?"
"Kirlia!" 'Definitely.' Ro snickered, standing beside Gardevoir.
"Moonblast."
"Hidden Power."
A bright pink ball of power flew towards the retreating balloon while small orbs swirled around, buring a bright pink by the shared energy. The moves smashed into the hot air balloon, sending the balloon flying. Cayla waved them goodbye before scooping Ro back up.
"I missed you." She cooed.
"Kirli a." 'Me too.' He hugged back.
"Cayla," Diantha grabbed her attention. "You and Ro have an amazing bond, I glad to have seen it. You two are going to do great things." She promised.
Ro and Cayla looked at each other, before sharing a smile. There was no doubt in either's mind.
