*Two Days Later*
So I just learned that the Amity Colosseum has to be shut down due to some mechanical issues.
That means that they wont be able to finish the doubles for the next three weeks.
That put my singles match back five weeks.
Great.
I was sitting in the cafeteria with Riley.
We were just talking and having fun.
As much fun as I could have since I had another nightmare that night.
Riley: Man you sure you don't need a therapist?
Me: No therapy. I'll pass.
Riley: Your downfall, I guess. So who you think your going up against in the singles?
Me: I want to fight Drake Hellfire from team DLPN. They made it to the singles unfortunately.
Riley: Alright. Seems logical.
Then someone from behind called out
???: Oh Wolfy!
I looked over and saw it was Coco.
She sat down next to me and pulled down her shades.
Coco: Once again, nice job in the tournament, babe.
I tried to ignore her flirty attitude.
She wrapped an arm around me.
Coco: You know you shouldn't keep those moves all to yourself, hun.
She reached her other hand to my cheek.
Coco: Teach me somethin...
I held my hands up slowly and she took her hands away.
Me: Paying no mind to your way of communicating, I dont offer lessons.
Coco: Hmph. Alright you anti-social. Guess your missing out. I just got two tickets to the movies and I WAS going to share them with you.
Me: Thanks but no thanks. I gotta train for the singles round.
She seemed disappointed
Coco: Oh...
Me: Well if its any consolation, even if I didnt have to practice...
I took a sip of my drink and slammed it on the table.
Me: I probably still wouldn't accept...
She crossed her arms.
Riley: Ouch... She didn't like that...
Me: Well I wouldn't! I dont think I want to date right now...
Then someone else walked up
It was Rain, from team AARK.
Me: Rain, was it?
She nodded.
Rain: Mind if I take the seat next to you?
I shook my head and she sat down on the opposite side from Coco.
She had stitches on her cheek from where I injured her.
I realized how awkward this was.
Me: So... Im sorry about hurting you... No hard feelings?
She shook her head
Rain: No no! Its good! Im fine! None at all.
Me: Good. I thought you were here to shove a dagger in my spine.
