I awoke to the rocking of the ship.
I sat up and looked around while rubbing my eyes.
The sun was shining through the window perfectly.
I stood up and stretched.
I went over and threw my war coat in lazily.
Then I just went up to the top deck.
When I got up there, I saw Yang leaned up against the wall with her bike and ours.
She was looking at the picture of team STRQ.
She put the picture away as I leaned against the wall with her.
Me: So. Were finally going to see Mom.
Yang: Yep.
Me: Hmph. Excited?
Yang just dropped her head.
Me: Yeah, I'm nervous too.
Yang: So your not the only one shaking in your boots right now?
Me: Nope.
Then Yang sighed
Yang: Wolf... Your the best brother any one could ask for...
Me: I like to pride myself, but why are you telling me this all of a sudden?
Yang: I guess I feel that... Well... I don't give you enough praise. You've trained me, you've helped me with loss, you've even saved my life a few times over the years. I don't really feel like I can say it enough. You were just there for me.
Me: Yang, that's sweet and all, but I'm your big brother. It's what I do. I'm here to protect you and Ruby when that need arises. I don't need thanks for it.
Yang laughed lightly
Yang: Why do you always do that?
Me: Do what?
Yang: Anytime someone thanks you or priases you, you act modest and say you don't require it. Its like you can't take a compliment!
I smirked
Me: Guess its just how I am.
Yang: There you go again!
We laughed.
Me: Well if it makes you feel any better, having a sibling as great as you is thanks enough.
She smiled and I put an arm around her.
There was a brief silence.
Me: You a fan of sea travel?
Yang: Nope.
Me: Me neither.
Then Riley and Aaron came up.
Riley: Guys, we have a problem.
Me: What?
Aaron: Ships sonars are goin off. Could be Grimm.
Me: How many alerts?
Aaron: One.
Me: Then its probably just a passing Reaper Eel.
Riley: It could also be Sea Feilong Titanokano.
Me: True.
Then the ship shook violently for a second.
Me: That... Was too big to be either...
Riley: A Feilong could rip the ship in half, but if it was one, we'd be dead already.
The ship shook again.
